Last night after my battery had charged for my 901 I attempted to release the batt from the charger. I looked at the battery and noticed something strange, the thread connector part was not there. The thread connector part was still on the charger. So I unplugged, got some needle nose pliers and removed the little thread piece.

Now I am stuck with a dissected battery:(

Is there any hope to rebuild? Do we have the technology? Or is this one heading for the trash?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

I just dissected a dead DSE103 battery to see how it's built. I'm assuming that the manufacturing conceprts are the same with a 901. I'm amazed the yours fell apart. I had to section mine with a tubing-cutter. It appears that everything with these are a press-fit. I wish I could tell you that all you had to do was press it back together, but from what you describe, the wires are all broken - game over. I would contact customer service and get it replaced.

If the wires are not broke, all you should have to do is press it back together. maybe even add a touch of super glue so that it doesn't come apart again.
Thanks MC

I tried putting it back together.

At first the light would come on when hitting it but no vape:(

The the light did not come on at all :'(''

I am thinking something needs to be connecting somewhere?

Is the red one supposed to be soldered to the center of the threaded part(gold) or the inside of the batt center(black)?
out of the tube there should be two wires, and ... said the red goes to the center.. although i thinki had a red and green.. either way the red wire is the+ and it goes to the center gold piece on the screw part ;)

DON'T USE SUPER-GLUE!!!!! IT'S CYANIDE BASED!!!!

When it gets hot it emits cyanide vapor. I don't think you'd want to be inhaling it.

Superglue is cyanoacrylate...nothing to do with cyanide. Superglues are used in the medical field for closing wounds. It is perfectly safe to use it to lock down the battery terminal since it is not being directly heated by the atomizer.
