There used to be a clone? Or was it never cloned? Tobecco & Yeahsmo made Prometey & other clones. I think word about the authentic was slow to spread & like most authentic pretty expensive sooooo. Yeah. I let authentics pass because I can't afford them. I might check them out but then it's going to be a pass. Then we don't always find out about the clones. Achilles get snatched up when they appear.

The Achilles V1 was cloned, and was available through Frog in Fog until their stock was exhausted: Achilles Atomizer Clone / Titanium RDA / Achilles RBA

They don't intend to restock V1s, but have promised V2s when they start coming out of Yeahsmo's factory. Hasn't happened yet, although they keep saying "soon."

In the meantime, Titanium mods has refreshed their stock of authentic V2s: Atomizer «ACHILLES»

€85 = $94 USD. Not the most horribly expensive high end rba out there, and perhaps well worth it, but more than I'm willing or able to spend atm on any one non-essential item. Besides which, a story I believe @roxynoodle told, about how she'd once placed an order for several items from Titanium Mods, when the pkg arrived it was missing some of the paid for items, and they told her (paraphrased here): Maybe we can include them with your next order.

WTH? I'm in no hurry to do business with a company that treats their customers like that. Maybe we can include the missing paid for item the next time you buy something else from us?! Holy crap. No thanks.

Somebody feel free to correct me If I got the above story wrong. In the meanwhile, I will wait for the clones.

What he did was give me two very cheap drip tips instead of the much more expensive ones I paid for. And sent a friend a ti tank for his Ataman 2 that couldn't seal to the base because the threads were cut wrong. And told us both he would consider discussing the problems on our next order. First he pretended he didn't understand, for both of us, as he speaks Russian. Then after we continued pressing him for resolution we got the "maybe I will consider fixing the problem when you buy something else".

I only got cheated out of about $25 on the drip tips since I got something. My friend got taken for about $50 on the tank with what the exchange rate was at the time.

I've heard more than one story like that about them. Even if I could afford to buy from them I wouldn't do business with them.

Just to add it seems that V1 clones are still in the supply chain but at the wholesale level, ali etc.
I would prefer the V2 but would settle for V1.
Then I would buy V2 as well when/if available.

or perhaps another authentic, hmmm tough one. This is my favorite atty and none of my prefered attys are typically available. (Achilles, Prometey, MicroDrip, MiniDrip) I was unaware of problems with Ti Mods service <sigh> My authentic took one month to the day to arrive. Fit and finish are immaculate, jewel like.

The torture never stops.

My pleasure. As far as I know, Achilles RDA is original from Ukraine, it seems that titanium-mods is the only vendor has it for sale. And Achilles RDA clone is manufactured by a Chinese company called Yesmo. That's what I got. If you guys have more info about this RDA, please PM me. Thank you.

I would expect a similar quality experience with a Yeahsmo Achilles clone. The info you have is pretty much what there is!
