I was just looking at an e-juice calculator, and it gave the option to add vodka. I'm somewhat of a noob, so I've never heard of this before. What will it do to my vapor? What's the purpose?
To thin out your juice if its too thick. Some people use 90/10 or 100% VG, VG is very thick. Add Vodka will thin it out and won't alter taste (well shouldn't alter taste that is).
Thanks! I have problems with the ethyl alcohol is some juices; it makes them really harsh and poisonous-tasting. I have to really let them air out for quite awhile. I'm wondering if vodka would have the same effect. Do you have any knowlege of that?

Vodka is ethyl alcohol (40-50%, the rest being water), relatively pure since it's usually distilled and/or filtered several times before bottling. You might also use distilled water alongside/in place of the vodka.

I am afraid flavors are made with USP grade alcohol, and USP alcohol has quite bad taste. Yes, it is cleaned, but not from components that give harshness to taste. Only drinking alcohol is cleaned (OK, mostly cleaned) from these components.
