I will double up on the doubling up. I the main battery sites all give plastic cases, but they can pop open. I got a zip case from 18650batterystore.com they said fit 2 21700, but I can get 4 20700s in it. It was like, 2$, and a five pack of silicone battery socks from fasttech was under 5$.:

If I were at your case I would go with these:
  1. Aegis mod 100w(This is the original aegis, buy only the mod not a kit.)It would be wise to get two modes because you must have a backup out there in the fields.View attachment 822679

  2. Geekvape aegis 20700/21700 battery cap.( This allows Geekvape Aegis owners to utilize 20700 / 21700 batteries).

The reason I suggest this cap is that I don't trust rewrap 26650 batteries.

  3. 8 Samsung 50E2 21700 batteries.(If you are going to vape up to 20w ) Best ultra high capacity battery.

  4. XTAR Dragon VP4 Plus charger.(It can charge 4 21700 at the same time). You can set to charge the 4 batteries at 1 A or at 0.5 A via clicking the "current refresh button".No problem to use the 1A setting.

  5. 4X plastic battery cases(each holds 2 batteries) View attachment 822683

  6. Zlide mtl tank by Innokin (Get 2 you need to have a backup)
    • 0.48ohm Kanthal 3D Mesh Coil - rated for 13-16W
    • 1.6ohm Kanthal Coil - rated for 10W

I'm looking for something for the rainy days myself. I'm seriously looking at the jackaroo myself, especially because of the 20700 support. just can't seem to find it for less than 60$

Good choices. With the Solo, you'll need 18650 batteries. Since you are a MTL low wattage vaper, I'd go with a higher mAh capacity battery like the below three. They all perform nearly the same, so doesn't really matter which model you choose. You may well get nearly a full day's use with a single 3000mah battery at your wattage level.

If you can, I highly recommend purchasing your batteries from an online, well known, trusted battery supplier. Batteries are the most important item in your vape setup, and you don't want to risk buying counterfeit batteries.
