Hello! I just got my e-cig today and have been waiting for almost 3 weeks. I ordered from China. I figured I’d make sure I was going to like it before I ordered a more expensive American version and everything probably comes from China anyway. So set up wasn’t a problem. I took my first two “vapes” and didn’t get much vapor. So the third time, I inhaled a little harder. I got some juice in my mouth. All the things I’ve read said this is normal. Problem is, I got sick...and was sick at least an hour. Complete panic set in. I smoke ultra-lights and I ordered the low nicotine. Has anyone else experienced this sickness - feeling faint, nauseous, panicked? Or could this be because I ordered from China and got bad juice? I still don’t feel completely myself. Luckily after about an hour, I was able to relax. I really don’t want to give this up already, but that was not a good experience. Any suggestions are appreciated. Would buying a more reputable brand aid in this never happening again?

Happened to me, don't sweat it...if I had to guess, you probably just overfilled a bit, and when you swallowed the juice you got a bit too much nicotine at once. You'll get a feel for how much to put in.

If you're using automatic batteries, you might consider switching to a manual when you get your upgrade kit--the button's easy to get accustomed to and you don't have to take hard drags off of it to get a good vape like you would an automatic. Not having to take those harder drags really cuts down on the risk of drawing hard enough to get a mouthful of juice.

Ummm, yeah, that's a paragraph...

You don't say what you have other than a China product, so what you ordered would be nice to know as someone here probably has tried it.

Next, juice means quite a bit and I am not sure if you are getting it out of prefilled cartomizers or prefilled cartridges, or even if you are filling one or the other yourself.

Lastly and most importantly! It reads like you tried to smoke a vaporizer instead of vaping it. To vape, you take a slow drag into your mouth and stop. Open your mouth a bit wider and then inhale. It is impossible to get juice in your mouth while inhaling vape as your lips are no longer on the PV when you vape it. (It takes some time to get the hang of it, but it is really worth it.)

So, let us know what you have and we'll see what we can do to help.

The sick was probably from the juice in your mouth. Likes been posted already the Brand, Juice, nic. level etc. etc. will help figure it out for you better. One thing though. You don't vape the same way you smoked. I was going to quit the first time I tried it. I said Oh Heck No, This Isn't For Me. I'm sure glad the ECF members were here to help me. I've been off the stinkies for 16 mo. now. Both me and my doc. are happy.

mec2378, you probably would do better using cartos they seem to be a bit easier and you wont get as much juice in your mouth probably none at all if you don't overfill them. Might wanna try a Iken V2 Gold or a Boge LR 2ohm carto on your unit, these both vape very well and put out a lot more than a reg cart on an Atty carts are bunk and most move on from them quickly.

It is a popular best starter kit YQ906. I got 50 cartridges (I'm not advanced enough to fill, yet) and they are 6 mg. I had no idea how to vape as the instruction manual told me only how to put it together. I have used a friend's e-cig and never had a problem. I was so looking forward to getting off the stinkies and am totally discouraged. Should I just go purchase a new kit locally?

Like this one? Hard to tell what it is. Maybe a KR808D1 or it's nasty relative the D2. I think. All of the production e-cigs are made in China and you don't save a lot ordering from there unless it's an $8 kit that a con artist pass off as good for $60. The truly American made stuff are mods and very pricey.

Yes, MickeyRat, that is it.

(New Paragraph) Thanks, Eli. I've calmed down and I'm not giving up. I've been smoking 14 years and have tried everything to quit. I quit cold turkey in February for a month and then started again. I got so excited to see so many great reviews from people about the e-cigarette. To be able to "smoke" (vape) and not smell or constantly worry about your health is beyond a relief. I'm going to take it slow and I'll upgrade very soon.

Good to hear :) These things really do work so don't give up. There is a bit of a learning curve with the ecigs but it is so well worth it in the end :) Good luck!

It's not a KR8 anything. It has an atomizer. Not all atomizers show on the outside. It has the kind of atomizer the cart covers. It looks more similar to an RN4081 as a 3-piece but it could be anything. If it is thinner than 9.2mm diameter then it is not an RN4081 and instead is some Chinese super-mini. I can tell you one thing - it is not popular.

Most people get annoyed with atty+cart and stop using carts aka cartridges. That requires buying a model that can use cartomizers, preferably a manual model that you can also drip on. Carts tend to dump juice in your mouth occasionally and are a pain to keep filled. Cartomizers are nicer.

That's what I get for just looking at the pics and not reading. It's probably the same thing as the e-health. If that's it, I believe it's a cheapie M401 clone called an EC502.
