advice needed for battery problems

Hi

I have 3 18650 samsung batteries which i bought about a month ago from a decent shop.
I have had my charger for about 2 yrs
My problem is my device is saying "weak battery" after about an hour of vaping this happens on all 3 batteries even after full charge and then when i place them back in charger it says their already 3/4 charged.The batteries used to last at least a full day,So could it be that my batteries have a problem or my charger or my device?

I hope this makes sense!!!

Have you tried charging any of the batteries in your Pico via USB?
You can try that and if it works OK then it is the charger.

Finding the root of your problem will be a process of elimination. You are challenged at conducting those processes.

Charging via USB (excellent suggestion @ShowMeTwice ) will eliminate the charger as being the culprit or not. Just keep an eye on your device while charging via USB. Should it get hot, unplug immediately.

What does the battery indication on the Pico say when you receive the “Weak Battery” error? Does it coincide with what the charger displays?

Should you have another single cell device, you can try your batteries within it, this should prove if your Pico is the problem or not.

Failing this, perhaps bring your device, batteries and charger to a local store, if there is a local store.

The original poster's problem could be caused by a number of different issues that need to be considered.

The batteries could be rewrapped counterfeit batteries if not purchased from a trusted battery supplier, or are "older stock" batteries, and therefore are not performing up to stuff. Battery performance suffers as batteries age, whether they are being used or not.

The Pico may have a higher than usual "low voltage cut off". Most mods will give a low battery warning at around 3.2 volts, but this pico may be giving the warning at 3.6 volts or higher. If this is the case, the circuit board is faulty with its battery management.

The Samsung 25R is supposed to be a 20 amp battery good for up to 60 watts. However, if they are counterfeit or old stock they will not perform as well as a new authentic Samsung 25R. If your batteries are wimping out at 50 watts, you might want to try a higher amp battery than the 25R.

The charger may not be charging the batteries properly. I'm not familiar with the brand name golisi. Guide to Choosing a Li-ion Battery Charger

I just looked up "efleaf pico 50 watts weak battery" and results show several incidents of this problem.

Another thought from an article I saw...try lowering your wattage to 30 watts (or less) do you then get the "weak battery"?

Coil resistance is irrelevant in a regulated mod. She's using a Pico which is a regulated mod.
