    It's a very conservative estimate.
My istick 30 has already at least 600 charges. Not all of them are full charges (not once I charged it when it was half full), but anyway...

    Just saying.

Either the OP is using batts that are over a year old and/or she's pushing her Pico's limit.

sorry been away. I haven't changed anything in my vape pattern, vaping the Pico with the
    mel0 3 tank .4 ohms at 35w with IMR18650 3.7V 3000 mAh 35amp batteriies
I believe IMR is a type of battery, not a brand. The highest amp rating of 3000 mah batteries I'm aware of is 20. May be try again to determine the brand name. Where did you buy them? Is there a web page that shows them?

Likely rebranded/rewrapped batteries which are overrated and underperforming. Best bet is get an 18650 from a reliable vendor like IMR, Illum, or RTD. Avoid eBay and even Amazon.

Purple Efest Batteries Not As Advertised
    • A cautionary blog that reveals that the purple Efest batteries may not have the specifications advertised. Also includes an important commentary on "continuous discharge ratings" vs "pulse discharge ratings" of battery specs.
Are You Using a Rewrap (Rebranded) Battery?

    • Learn what a rewrap cell is. If you are using rebranded cells, does that mean it is inferior, poor quality, or even dangerous? Which batteries are suspected to be rebranded batteries?

I would suggest replacing those with any of the batteries from one of the reliable vendors off the list above. Problems with efest batteries is not uncommon. You can buy an authentic Samsung 25R for $5. Going with something cheaper to save a dollar or two is just not worth it. If you bought those efests in a vape shop, well, I just wouldn't take their advice on batteries in the future.

The 30q is a much better battery. Imo the best one for regulated applications.

I'm thrilled she had them in a Pico instead of a mech mod. Things could have been much much worse.

My iStick 30 has already at least 600 charges. Not all of them are full charges
Then it's not 600 charge cycles. A charge cycle is defined as using up and restoring one "full charge" worth of power, whether or not it's in a single session. If you drain a battery halfway, then charge it, then drain it halfway again, then charge it again, that's one "charge cycle," not two. So, if you've recharged it 600 times but never let it get more than halfway empty before doing, that's only (less than) 300 charge cycles on the battery.

Use the battery recommended by the manufacturer meaning 25 amp rating. But a lot of manufacturers apparently overrate their batteries. There's a guy on this site named mooch who tests a lot of batteries to see how they compare with the specs claimed. A few brands seem to use accurate numbers including LG, Sony, perhaps others.

Eh. They're both 20A batteries, and the 500 mAh increase on the 30Qs isn't a big deal to me. My run times are excellent, and most of my mods are 2 and 3 battery.
My point is the only difference is extra milliamp hours on the 30q, for the same price. doesn't make sense to reccommend the 25r over the 30q.

Plus, with the 30q, less chance of getting counterfeits like the Sony's and LG's.
