So I sort of switched to vaping about a week ago. By sort of, I mean that I'm both vaping and smoking. The good news is that I've gone from about 25 analogs a day down to about 7 a day.
However, I want to switch over completely, but I have a problem. To explain, here's what my first 3 days went:
Day 1: Analogs smoked: 14
I was vaping only the last half of the day as the batteries in my 510 weren't yet charged enough.
Day 2: Analogs smoked: 7
Vaping in between analogs.
Day 3: Analogs smoked: 6
Vaping in between analogs
Which brings us to day 4...
Day 4: Analogs smoked: 3
Vaping in between analogs. This is the day my problem started...
I had an analog when I woke up around 5:30am, and vaped until about 10:30 am. At this point, I felt kind of funny. The best I can describe it was that I felt shaky INSIDE, and it felt like my heart was beating kind of funny. Of course, checking my pulse, my heart was beating normally.... I figured I was probably just vaping too much, and just kind of ignored it.
I went back to work, and everything seemed to settle down.
About 1pm, I started vaping again, and after a few minutes, I started feeling odd again, which I have to admit worried me a little. I smoked an analog to calm down a bit, and lo and behold, I felt absolutely normal again within 2 minutes of finishing the smoke.
My theory is that I'm probably not getting enough nicotine from vaping alone, and it was probably just nicotine withdrawl. So here's where I need advice, as I want to quit smoking analogs entirely.
I'm thinking that for a little while longer, I'll still smoke 6-7 analogs a day as well as vaping, and then drop one analog per day over a period of time in the hopes of minimizing withdrawl like I described above. I say 6-7 as I seem just fine at that level.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Any opinions on whether that's a working approach, or whether I'm better off just going cold turkey on the analogs and dealing with whatever comes from that?
Would an e-cig that produces more vapor than my 510 help?
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated!
