I've been trying different e-cigs for over a year now. I found a website (smokepower.com) where they had a lady slim model that i thought would be a good transition from my brand of cigarettes. After a while, dealing with over-heating atomizers, I bought the ego-t kit from them. That worked fine, but supplies were no longer available so I bought the ego-c kit. I love the ego-c. The problem i have is with leaking. The juice that came with the kit is, i believe, all PG. That liquid does not leak. It just does not give a lot of throat hit and vapor. (I'm a menthol smoker.) I found highbrow vapor and ordered a customized mix from them for throat hit and vapor. it's a 70/30 mix and is the perfect blend for me. I love it. however, it leaks like crazy!! I'm using the silicone tank caps. Could someone please help me figure out what the issue is here? Is it that i did not buy the "Joye" Ego-C? Is it that the PC juice is a golden color and the 70/30 mix is very dark? I'm at a loss. If i need to buy an entire new kit, i will. I'd love to quit smoking all together, but want the right substitute before i do. Any advice would be so very welcome.

I agree with the previous posters. Batteries and juices do not cause leaking. The juice carrying devices are either defective, or are leaking from user error. To allow us to help you, we need to know exactly what you are using. A more specific name for the tank or a link to the vendor would be helpful. We may be able to offer hints to salvage what you are currently using.

Hi, blueish. I've actually been at this a very, very long time, even though it'll say one post. I've only just started a new second account cause I'm weird like that. Even if the ego-c attys are giving you more headaches than they're worth, you wouldn't need to buy a whole new starter kit because your ego batteries will fire up any new atty/carto/clearo/tank you throw on them. Could you let us know if you've tried, say, a vivi nova, kanger t2/t3, etc. with any satisfactory results? If not, especially these kanger clearos are quite a cheap thing to try; and a new (geuine vision, trust me) vivi nova won't set you back much, either. I'd love to see if these options might get you off of the smokes, altogether. Please report back, and best of luck!

Ah, the silicone caps! How I loathed them...

I experienced a little tiny bit of lleakage with them, but I absolutely hated the taste they imparted.

Though it's a Canadian vendor, you can probably find THESE somewhere near you. Using these on the empty eGo-C Type-A tanks solved this problem for me.

Sorry, I didn't know what info you would need. Here's the link to my e-cig. I haven't modified anything. The cartridge is the hard plastic but has the soft silicone cap on the bottom (towards the atomizer). The juice is leaking from the hole at the bottom. All over the atomizer and down onto the battery. I will admit to sometimes wrapping a paper towel around the ecig, just so I can use the juice i like. My terminology may be off, but i believe the problem is with the cartridge (where the juice is). I've tried filling it less, but still the leakage. Maybe cheap cartridges are the problem? I'll try the link above for the caps.

I have that setup and havent had any issues with leakage, you may want to try a new silicone cap and allow the atty to puncture it instead of making a hole yourself... OR you could try a BOGE carto, a Stardust Clearomizer or a Mini Vivi Nova... trust me, there is nothing wrong with your setup... lots of people here have and use the eGo daily... I have a Zmax and on the way out of the house this morning I grabbed one of the eGo's for the trip into work... I still love em cuz they work great. Try some different things and you will find your optimal setup and you will be happy and good to go from there.

Oh my god!!! This is absolutely the BEST thing ever!!! Not a single leak, great throat hit and vapor! Thank you to everyone who replied. I've already gone all this week without going outside at work for a real cig. Not saying I'm going to quit tomorrow, but now I have something to work towards that eventual goal. I will say my cig consumption has been cut in half just this week. Thank you again to all!!

Awesome, glad you're all fixed up :thumb:

That is one of the fun things (get to snicker to myself) to watch is the guys going out in the weather to smoke, I actually kept an umbrella right next to the door, wasn't going to let rain (or what ever) interfere with my smoke time, it's definitely nice being able to vape indoors when you don't feel like going out...

Cutting back by 1/2 is awesome, enjoy your vaping :)

I thought I'd post an update. I absolutely love the Vision stardust! No leaks at all. Also fell in love with want2vape's Mystical Menthol. So much so that........ Drumroll please..... I've only smoked 6 analogs in the past 6 days!!!! I'd also say 3 of those were mistakes, just habit because my e-cig was in my purse pocket. I am just thrilled. Gave my husband a duplicate of my setup and he hasn't had an analog since I gave it to him (4 days). He's addicted to Tasty Vapor's Tastyfinger.

Now some more advice needed.... We're looking for a good Cherry /cherry mint flavor and a jolly rancher flavor. Opinions??
