RDA Advice on builds for Atty cubed 3

hi all,

I've been vamping for over 2 months now and started with a I taste MVP 3.0 and a, using tiger wire coils ( vamping at between 40-60w) the missus has bought me a x cube II for Christmas and I am just wondering about different coils for vamping at higher wattage (up to 180w) I don't really know much about different wires etc but I have read that different coils can effect the amount of clouds, heat etc, I'm very interested in Clapton coils because they look pretty cool but since I am technically a newbie I just thought I'd find out what it all means? I'm planning on buying pre made coils and was just looking for some suggestions and advice please, I found a Clapton coil mega pack for sale but it said only use on low ohm builds?

I would say start out with some simple twisted builds. You can twist up some 28 gauge kanthal and do a dual coil with that. It will give good flavor and decent cloudage. Then you can try different variations of that. I was running twisted builds for 8 months and in the past 3 months I started building claptons, fused claptons, staggered fused claptons and caterpillar tracks plus lots of other variations of them. Take it slow and learn your mod and rda. Steamengine.org is a great site that helped me a lot when I first started building. Do you have an ohm meter? And what wire gauges do you have? And those pre made Clapton rolls are great but I would just start with something a little more forgiving til you get your building skills refined a little.
