Hi guys, I am new to coil building. I just ordered the innokin Ares 2 rta to get me started. Being in Ireland we are limited in vape supplies. Especially DIY gear. Amazon and Ebay were great in the past but I can find very little now. I would like to experiment with different coil types & learn to understand Steam Engine. I have been playing around and managed to find Fused Clapton wire on Amazon (See image below). Based on my understanding I have worked out the following. Can someone tell me if I am the right track or way of the mark.
I just ordered a couple of rolls of vandy vape Vandy Vape A1 Superfine MTL Fused Clapton Wire. It actually tells you everything you need to know on the roll. Been looking at them for ages and didn't see it Will be able to vape at around 1ohm to start and see where it goes from there. Thanks Mordacai!
No worries at all @Slimk123, sometimes it's just not knowing what's out there.
But when you've found the right gauges, ID and wraps you like definitely try some Ni80. It just gets to temperature quicker.
