If you feel like you need a "look-a-like", then go with Smokeless Image Volt. If you are willing to explore the wonderful world of vaping outside of "look-a-likes", then take a look at the joyetech Ego-C. joyetech also just released a variable voltage device called the Twist. If you want more control over your vaping experience, then you may want to consider it.

I'm new to vaping so it's not advice so much as just my experience with my purchases. originally got a supermini from ProSmoke and I used it for about 3 days. The carts leaked in my mouth and I'm in the process of trying to return it! I smoked while using that because it just was not satisfying. I immediately ordered a Joyetech Ego-T type B starter kit (from vaporkings.com) which arrived promptly. I am pretty pleased with it I feel like it's a simple transition for people new to vaping. Easy to use decent vapor production and flavor from e-juice, and good price. There are definitely better options but I decided on the ego-t as a stepping stool into the world of vaping. A lot of the mods and stuff seem way too complicated for new vapers and I am looking forward to trying new options in the future. For now, my Ego is enough for me. Very happy with it, have used it for 16 days, 13 of those days without a cigarette and I don't miss analogs one bit. Got my mom, best friend, and sister toswitch to vaping too with their own ego-t kits:) i went from trying to miserably quit smoking to finding something new and much more healthy that i enjoy because of the ego. You'll need e liquid as well, :)first ejuices I got were from Fuzionvapor.com and I'm already a repeat customer.

You need to move up to an eGo or one of it's clones, like the Kgo. Next up the list is APV, aka mod. Any of these will be larger than a disposable. The battery will also last longer. The standard eGo batt is 650mah, but batteries are available up to 1100mah. The Kgo is 1100mah, and comes off the charger at 4.2 volts. Most have 510 threads, which is the most popular, so a very large variety of atomizers and cartomizers are available.

Variable voltage personal vaporizers are another option, but usually come at a steeper price.

Check the list of approved vendors at the bottom of the main page. Keep in mind, that not all reliable vendors are listed.

For a cigarette looking device, you really can't beat the volt. It's the best of an otherwise very sorry category of e-cigs.

If you want a more powerful and versatile device without going into the complicated mods, my two top recommendations are the kGo and the e-Power. Both of them are about the size of a Sharpie marker. They accept any of the 510 juice delivery devices like cartomizers and clearomizers and tanks. The kGo works with anything that an eGo uses and it's probably the #1 device for new vapers. The e-Power is similar except that it takes separate rechargeable batteries, like a flashlight would. the e-Power is more economical in the long run because you can replace the batteries and the switch if they die or fail.

Either one will last about 10 hours between recharges and can be had with a complete kit for about $40-50.
They're a definite improvement from any of the cigarette looking e-cigs out there.

Great job on quitting those smokes! I'm a pretty new vaper myself, and have already spent a bunch of money trying to find what I really like. I began with a Joy510 kit, but within a week, I was sick and tired of recharging those little batteries constantly, and also knew that I needed something with more KAPOW to it, lol. I've since gotten a BB from Altsmoke, a LT (new one from CCV) a couple of wood mods, 2 bottom feeder mods, an Ego-T passthrough and most recently the new Ego C Twist. Gotta say that the Twist (with a stardust/vision/ego elegance clearomizer) and the bottom feeders are my absolute favorites, and I have found my KAPOW!!

I give a ton of credit to this forum and it's awesome members for helping me to find my way to my sweet spot. This week I began my DIY ejuice adventure, and am over here sitting fat and happy with some fabulous vape.

My #1 piece of advice, is to not only get yourself a great PV, but to make sure you have a backup PV as well!

Several new members have posted that they are getting a complete day of battery life on the mini-battery Volt and 2 - 3 days of battery life on the Kgo and both stated they are heavy vapers. Those are impressive usage times out of those batteries.

Who are you and what have you done with wv2win?

I bought one of those Infiniti disposables and thought it was horrible. I just received my KGO yesterday and am happily vaping with it today. The battery was fully charged last night and I've been vaping all day on it and it's still going strong. I'm an absolute newb, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I'm very happy with the KGO. Just keep in mind that I have no point of reference except that stupid Infiniti disposable.

BTW, I ordered my KGO from Dark City Vapors and it was shipped the same day. Hoosierecig.com also sells them for about the same price.

I concur with the KGO recommendations. I have been off cigs for a month now, basically chain vaping and the KGO 1100 mah version lasts me all day and then some. Very reasonably priced, higher voltage than the ego and compatible with most ego products. I tried V2, volt, halo etc. they are all decent and basically the same if you insist on the cig sized battery but the KGO provides all day use, power and simplicity in one.

I've smoked blu and infiniti disposables, and am looking to get a rechargeable. I want one that will last a long time and make a lot of smoke. What should I get

something from the ego line as others have stated. The standard ego with 2.4 ohm cartos has served me well for almost 2 years. Its inexpensive, easy to carry and tons of options on the market. Ego with a ce4/vision stardust carto and you will be happy

I started with the blu, but returned it because the kits they sell are horrible, the batteries last an hour and the cartos burn quick. I ended up with the volt. It's a great system. For $60 you can get the pro starter kit. That has 2 batteries, a mega pcc, USB charger, and pack of cartos. I recommend getting a variety pack. IMHO ey make the best 808 cartomizers because the coil is on the bottom, I have not burnt one yet, even vaping it dry. You can refill them several times, I have some that have been refilled 25 times. The nice thing about smokeless image is that the have an x2 battery which is similar to an ego. The small one lasts about 8 hours of vaping. What's nice about it is that it is interchangeable with the volt cartos. And the clearomizers will fit the small volt battery. So you can start with a starter kit and then get an x2 and clearomizer and everything works together, no wasted purchase.

If you are quitting analogs, I suggest this route because it feels like a cig, so you can still have that habit of smoking and holding. Definitely don't get the blu starter kit, you will get discouraged as I did. Plus it costs more. Their cartos aren't designed to be refilled so it will get expensive. The volt cartos are $9 without a coupon (which is always available). If you refill with their juice, you can refill for about 30 cents, other juices will be even cheaper. Vapordudes.com has great juice and awesome promos. They will give you a bottle for free if you use the promo code fbfree. Plus you can get 40% off an order with the code "vapordudes". You can add flavor shots to their juice and customize the pg/vg ratio. Pg gives a better throat hit and flavor, vg gives more vapor, I suggest a 70/30 ratio. My first order was for 6 bottles came to $12 with shipping

All that brings to mind is a vague memory of this:

Gotta love Scott!

I recommend the Kgo regularly. Much better IMO than the ego. I just wish someone could give a tutorial on how to vape on it heavily and make one battery last 2 - 3 days. I guess I am too new to have figured that one out, yet.
