Aegis firmware update

After the the update 3 clicks no longer gets me in to settings to change ohms or reset puff counter. Speed of clicks has no effect,what next?

Do I reset to the original, it worked then?

Ask your question in this thread Geekvape Aegis Legend, Geekvape monitors it, you can also send a message to their tech support through their web site. Although I think China is having a long holiday now.

If you search you might find a thread similar to the one I posted above that is specifically for your mod and not the legend. On my Legend firmware did not change the 3 button.

You can try resetting it to the original for now, if you can't get ahold of Geekvape for a bit. The first time I tried to update my Legend I bricked it. I'm not sure if it was me or the update, actually. But the second time it worked. Geekvape's pretty good about following up. I'm assuming you've tried various other clicky combinations. I think there is an update thread on the legend and you might search under the Geekvape section of the board.

Looks like they are on holiday from 10/1 through 10/7 Public Holidays China 2018 & 2019

Maybe try reinstalling the firmware update, nothing to loose

Don't know if anyone noted it but this was about the Aegis not the Aegis Legend. Any way I put my Aegis back to the original firmware and it works just fine. I did get in trouble for fixing something that was not broke though!

Not sure if it is the same. I updated an Aegis with the new firmware. It also seemed that 3 clicks didn't work. 3 fast clicks would not do it. But three slow clicks did work. So might have been a change in the software to require slower clicks for it.

Finally figured it out!
Mine is 3 clicks on and off and 2 clicks to get into settings.
Not 5 and 3 like the manual says it should be. I don't mind just glad that I know how it works though puff count is really the only reset that happens for me.

Sorry I've got my hands full with chemo. And 3 Smoks that never done this weird stuff. This and the limitless mod were supposed to be better and so far they are tech puzzles. And VGod may be pretentious for a name but no malfunctions so far!

Anyone have the actual firmware update file downloaded for the Aegis Legend 200w they can just send me, I've tried downloading it from GeekVape multiple times but every time I just get an empty zipped file...

The download file is RAR format. Don't think windows can open or unpack it by itself. Download 7zip and use that to extract.
