I wish it had a 21700 battery though. I’m trying not to buy 18650 single battery mods after using 21700s I prefer the slightly longer battery life which for me is noticeable.

It's good that they have a choice. They already have a version that takes the larger batteries. I would rather have the smaller size than the longer run time. Some people like huge mods that take multiple batteries or a tiny 18350 mod. I had the Mini in my pocket when I was washing and waxing the motors yesterday because it wouldn't be a problem if it got wet or fell out of my pocket, and I could use it with soapy waxy hands. It would make me nervous doing that with most of my gear.

When you think about it we have a pretty good selection these days. That wasn't the case just a few years ago, and soon we might be down to choosing between the three FDA approved power delivery systems.

That’s true. It is a great selection. I have the regular size and it’s heavy so definitely having 2 smaller sizes is great.

I ordered here:
GeekVape Aegis Solo Mod 100W TC Vape Box Mod - Cvapor.com
mod only, code: solom
$32.88 with shipping
Still on pre-order, I don't expect it till June/July...LOL!
$44 now.
Solo all the way. No matter how you baby it, the Mini will be a paperweight after about 500 charge cycles. Meanwhile, the Solo just gets a new cell.

ETA: I never bought the Mini. I do have the Aegis, Aegis Legend, Aegis Solo, and Jackaroo, though...
Order placed. Thank you. I've wanted one of these since the Geekvape lady here was asking whether people were interested in a smaller, 18650 version of the Aegis.

How do you think the Solo and the Jackaroo compare?

The Jackaroo is MUCH larger, heavier, and bulkier. This is partially to allow for the larger 21700 cell. I suspect that the housing and silicon are a bit thicker, too. The Solo, therefore, is lighter and somewhat more comfortable to hold. If you're going to be using wattage around 45 watts (as I do with a single coil RTA), there's not a truly remarkable difference in battery life between the two. I'm running 3000 mAh 18650 in the Solo and 3500 mAh 21700 in the Jackaroo. If you're wanting higher wattage, the better bet is the Jackaroo.

Thank you. You have given me the wherewithal to remove the Jackaroo from my wishlist.
