I am in no way affiliated or involved in any way with the aspire company or it's affiliates.
How funny. I would. Send my mega back then. They are so new you must still have it under warranty. I have both and I haven't retired either. They are both great. My old aero and pro threes also. Seems like a maintenance issue to me. Or the nautilus sales are dropping and the above quote is a farce and this entire thread is to discredit kanger. Ah the smell of desperation.

Uhhhh.... .I really am not involved with the Aspire company, I just thought I'd put that in there, cuz, I'm SO HAPPY with my Nautilus, I have had NO PROBLEMS with it, and the taste is great .... better airflow controller too, clicks into place...

Read others' entries and you'll see a common thread... the Nautilus is tops.

P.S. : I'll let you know if I succeed in the warranty process... peace

Just get a regular aerotank, Kanger hit a home run with those, I mean if you have to keep the Mega 1/3 full you aren't gaining squat over an normal aerotank. Also now fastech has a generic aerotech that is just as good for less than $7. I have been hoarding them before they quit making them.
    Ummmm
If we have to keep our tanks over a 1/3 full, with a normal aerotank that would mean... I'd have to fill every ml ? No thanks.
Got me a 5ml Nautilus. Love it.
By the way, out of curiosity, I'm going to completely clean and re-assemble the Megatank in the hopes I can stop the leak, not necessary as i have the Nautilus, but.. would be nice to have a functioning backup.

You don't with the first aerotank, I have a couple Nautilus's and like them too but they don't have the airflow of the original aero.

I can't imagine how preferring one device over another could be construed as being a shill for the preferred device.

I bought another Aerotank Mega a little over 2 weeks ago, and this one has been working perfect. No leaking at all like y first one. I also bought an Aerotank Mini. I have some very slight leaking w/ the mini, but not much at all. As far as so many people saying that the Aspire Natilus is far better, I have to disagree. I've had just as many problems with my Nautilus as my original, leaky Mega. I get just as much juice on my tongue from my original, leaky Mega as the Nautilus and I get leaks at the airflow holes. Since my new Mega has been working perfectly for the last 2 weeks, I can say that I think the Mega is far better. I get better flavor and far bigger clouds with the Mega. I like that the Nautilus has a larger capacity and it's definitely easier to fill, but in every other aspect I prefer the Mega, but that's just my opinion.

Hi I'm new to aerotank mega what replacement coils do you recommend
    Cheers

Look on Ebay for 'replacement coil for aerotank mega' ... should be less than $2 each. They are dual coil types.
I've used a single coil with success as well.
Hope you find what you're looking for.

This would be the newest coils. Their original dual coil heads work too, but I'm thinking these may be better.

Atomizer Head for Aerotank Mini, Aerotank Mega

Also they are selling the bases only for these. I verified that the aerotank mini base will work in an EVOD glass for whatever that is worth.

Well, I just got my Kanger Aerotank DBC in the mail today. The air ring is so tight against the bottom tank ring I cannot get it to unscrew. I guess I am going to need some pliers of some kind to hold the slippery little bugger . . does anyone know who makes pliers that don't have teeth, or what to put over the teeth so they don't cut into the stainless? Very frustrating to say the least.

on edit - I finally got the tank apart, wrapped some duct tape on both sides it to be able to get a better grip, was just too slippery due to the smoothness of the finish, the tape gave me something to get a little traction with . . all good now, assembled it, loaded it up, just WOW - def a nice upgrade to say the least.

I use the Aerotank mega with the Protank 3/Aerotank heads rebuilt with a single micro coil at 1.4 ohms. These are the heads with the vertical slot on the side, not the new ones with 2 vertical holes. I remove the dual coils and rebuild. Its sweet and easy to do. Youtube has a video on this by Vape Quit titled Kanger Aero Mega Coil Rebuild.
