I'm in for one... Looks interesting and I like the focus on making an affordable quality design for the masses. That and I'm always up for trying anything new
Have you thought about insulating the wick hole in general? I have picked up a couple of the RSST rebuildables and love the insulators in those. They still allow a large wick hole but also make it very easy to accomodate an unoxidized wick or lightly oxidized wick and using the pulse method to work the coil to where it needs to be. I love my ZAP but hate that the insulator melts if your not careful. I have moved to using a carto insulator instead of the plastic oem ones. I have had no issues with melting or disconfiguring with the RSST insulators...just a thought is all?!?!
Not sure what other peoples thoughts on this are but i do know the insulator just make's setting everything up a breeze and may attract those with little to no experience in rbas or hybrids to try the model T. I think just with the affordability option you are going to attract newer users to this mod and with something like an insulator, it will allow them to have a more enjoyable experience with it.
Thoughts?
Ahh but see that's the key to anodized aluminum. It in itself IS an insulator. So since it's anodized, it's going to provide a insulated wick hole, but that doesn't solve the problem because the daggone wick will short to the kanthal and defeat the entire purpose. So your shorting to your wick and it's then going a .3 ohm or whatever and you pop your coil because the damn thing is shorting out all over the place.. the only way to solve this is to make sure that your wick itself is an insulator as well.

I've no clue what a brony is......
So here's teh scoop, I have pretty much finalized the price and machining for the Model T. I am still waiting for a confirmation, but it's pretty much in the bag. I am going to say tentatively that the final price is going to be $150, but not in stone yet till I get that confirmation. I can't express to you how excited I am now.![]()
