I don't see e-cigs getting banned. This is our governments way of black mailing the e-cig industry into given them a cut of the profits.

Kind of like what they did with gasoline.
Raise the price of gas from a dollar something a gallon to $5 then lower it to $3 and then people thank them for low gas prices.

So they will scare all the Vapers into thinking they are going to ban it, but instead they will tax the crap out of it.
Then we will all thank them for not banning it.

Keep a eye on that right hand while the left hand steals your money ;)

You can only help them that help them selves , this is a fact .
Sorry but after giving and giving they will still need you to give or they will find some one els to help them .

Forever needy

Actually, given their challenges, they're somehow managing to make go of it out on their own, and asking for only minimal help quite infrequently, and all of us who know them are quite impressed (they're step family to me). They never asked me for help vaping, only expressed curiosity about my flavors and such. I think this will be a great pay-it-forward, to some folks who don't always have it easy. Can't think of a better gift for the holidays...

I'm interested in everyone's take on this. Thanks in advance!

Since you asked.

I doubt they will ever be banned outright. With states now approving recreational use of other stuff, it will be almost impossible to outright ban ecigs. Now if you mean banning it in public, I fall on the other side of this than most ECF's. I believe it is up to establishment to allow or not, which our government tends to think that no one can think for themselves anymore. There will most likely be a ban in public places. I personally do not mind it.

I have been vaping around a year and half. I do not vape as often as I did. Sometimes I almost feel I do not need to vape at all. One of these days I will just not pick it up again, the same as I did with smokes. It could be they do the same.

I have been hooked on unflavored. It is cheap and easy. Maybe you can get them hooked on it. Heck anything tastes better than cig smoke.

If they do slide back to smokes.. You just try again. vaping is not for everyone.

it's another drug.

like fresh whole, natural, nutrient rich, pathogen killing, pathogen absorbing, raw, unprocessed cows milk...

that competes against the big money that makes the rules in it's relevant industry.

such as raw milk vs. pasteurized, processed milk who's enzymes are useless and dead before we ever get it... and my wife, my son and i are allergic to because of.

the pressure is always going to be there until the industry flip-flops and the money that provides the studies and pads the lawmakers pockets are coming from nicquid labs instead of ANTZ and big tobacco.

I say there's no better time than the present.

As the others have said, if they can support a smoking habit they can support vaping. I did the RYO bit too and vaping is still cheaper. Looking at the worst case scenario; let's say the FDA does finally get their way and ban ecigs entirely a year from now and they're unwilling or unable to use a black market, so they go back to smoking. Assuming a pack a day, in that year they've still each avoided 7300 cigarettes. Isn't that worth it?
