I don't shop at online vendors who have delays, run out of juice or shut down their site after a certain time or when they are sick. To me, it's just unprofessional. That's just my opinion. There are popular juices that run out constantly when there is unlimited supply of the product to make it. I can order a 50 gallon drum of PG and VG and as much extract/flavoring as I want. I can order the flavor extracts in large quantities. There is no reason that a so called reputable company is running out of a product after they know it's a popular product that is going to sell fast. Not only is it a let down for the consumer, but it's really a bad business move when you as the owner know you can make money hand over fist just by simply having the product available. It just baffles me.

Okay, I'm the owner and everyone is just crazy about my freckleberry juice so I order two of those big drums and mix it all up and then---suddenly the hot new juice is quackerberry from Joe's Juice and I'm stuck with two giant drums of a perishable product that hardly anyone wants to buy. Some people just want the hot new flavor, some people get tired of the juice and want something new. Plus, sometimes what makes a product desirable is the fact that it's hard to get--Cabbage Patch Dolls, Tickle Me Elmo, and a variety of juices and PVs talked about on this very board. I see people bragging on here all the time about getting in quick enough to score some doodah or gadget that sells out in minutes.

So you WANT sick people mixing your juice?

REALLY?

Helping people stop smoking is one of the most satisfying parts of being a vaper. Recommending a vendor to a newbie is fraught with possible errors, unless you walk them through their first order(s). I would, at minimum, give them a specific shopping list and a couple of vendors who you are happy with, as nobody has everything in stock all the time anyway.

Banning, to me, is restricting availability of vendors and I would rather keep my choices open here. The more advanced vapers certainly should be able to choose small, quirky vendors if they want.

I'm surprised by the OP's post count and time here on ECF. I hate to compare people to their post counts, but you'd think that after the 1k mark they'd know how to cover their bases.

Yanno, I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I joined ECF a couple months after I'd already been vaping.

But yeah, after almost four years of membership and over a thousand posts you'd think they'd have more than one vendor in their bookmarks and experienced enough "oh snap i have half a mil of juice left" moments to have stocked up.

I get mad when I have to wait three weeks for juice, so I guess I kind of understand.
But a lot of vendors are closed for specific times and it's pretty common knowledge.
One is only open one day a week, the other is only open for the day until they are full on orders.

If you can't deal with that there are plenty of other vendors who will ship next day.

I am in this for the vendors, the community and for people to stop smoking to be healthy, these small things like this only leads for more reason why the governement would want to take over, nictoine is a considered a drug and these buisnesses are trying to sell it on a shoe string which can only hurt the industry for the future of vaping, yes they have helped the community to start but times are changing so this practise of just closing shop is going to hurt them and those who vape in the long run and I will have to be the one who says told you so..... :D

I don't mean to be snarky. This is an honest question. You think the FDA would be more upset about vendors only being open during certain hours a week than being available to order from 24/7? I would think the FDA would want to limit the hours instead of demand vendors are always available. What makes you think the opposite?

There will ALWAYS be room for boutique vendors. SOME people prefer that type of vendor over the huge "Walmart" types. If YOU are having an issue with certain vendors, you don't have to poop all over ECF. Just DO NOT USE THAT VENDOR.

You aren't "in this" for me. Why would "the government" even CARE what the hours of operation are for any vendor?

no vendor is open 24/7.
They all have business hours, normally normal business hours like 9-5.
I appreciate the handmade aspect of it. I'm a customer on etsy so I am used to dealing with sicknesses, vacations, etc.
If it's a one or two person operation, there are only so many hours in a day and they like the rest of us have families, have errands to run, have dr. appointments, and have to sleep sometime.

Luckily there are like, I dunno, an infinite array of liquid vendors out there!

Corporations are people, my friend; small businesses are human. Mann

What I don't understand is why whenever I got to Tim Hortons late in the day, they are always out of my favorite donuts! Come on, can't they plan for their customers? :p

I don't shop at online vendors who have delays, run out of juice or shut down their site after a certain time or when they are sick. .

Uhh...I think I would rather them close if they're sick. Wow, some people. Please vendors, stay open if you're sick or if you run out of juice! Unbelievable!

What is crazy is that if vendors start limiting customer's orders to alleviate this type of madness, well, a new madness will ensue. Damned if you do, damned if you do.

I personally love the cottage industry aspect of vaping. These are the guys I want to support given they make good juice. I have tried in recent years to keep my money OUT of big business where ever I can. Vaping is no exception. Why would we ever want to create a hostile environment within our own community? To each his own, but calling on a community to try to shut down someone's business because they don't move fast enough for you is delusional and rude. It appears you have not truly weighed the reality of what is someone's livelihood versus your desire for a particular bottle of juice at a certain time. Just go be nice to someone....it will make you feel better.

According to the current ECF forum rules, the word POOP is not appropriate. This sort of behavior will not be tolerated. I suggest a ban. What say you, ECF members?

I am not sure who you are but your post of calling names and putting people down needs to stop, this was my opion and I have been part of the community a very long time, spent thousands of dollars helping vendors, so I have thr right to be heard of my concerns and thoughts with out childish name calling and slanders.

The OP must be out of medication, too, because he/she has polluted many other threads with this ranting and raving. Went to the AIV thread and he/she just went crazy there, too. WTH????
