I haven't had much luck with ECOpure (or anything else, for that matter).

I've spent several hours working on this, and lost quite a bit of juice, with no luck whatsoever. I'm pretty sure I've fried at least one attie.

I don't think I'm in the proper frame of mind to deal with this sticky, annoying mess right now, so I'll leave it alone for a few days and try again.

Hey guys, wondering if anyone as had this problem. My atty appears to be leaking from the botton hole that is outside the AFS, just before the connection point to the GGT. If I stand my GGT on end, there is juice dripping down the side, or if I lay it flat, there is a small line of puddled juice on the table where the GGT was laying. This leaking isn't immediate, but after about 15 to 20 minutes, I notice the leak.

Also, the flavor of the juice seems to have acquired an almost metalic taste to it. I have tried different juices, and all of them are the same consistancy, and have the same strange flavor. In fact, one of them is a juice I have used before in my AFS and never experienced this. If I use the same juice in a different device, the flavor is fine. It's possible that it's time to clean the atty, but the leaking thing has got me puzzles, almost as if the inner (lasered) hole has expanded.

Hi georgea.

the metallic taste is from the atty of cource, its not an AFS or GG problem. I had some leaking issues too with some atomizers on my AFS so I deside to make 901 atomizers without this hole. I found another way to make the atomizer breath so dont worry because I will have soon my new AFS atomizers that will fit to all existing AFS:)

I have had a few of those days with my AFS also.. but once you do figure it out it is amazing. Some of these atties are just no good. They are normal atties and if they are not broken in from the start then you will get flooding and no vapor. Also make sure you have the hole on the bottom open. If it is covered up you will get way too much juice.

What I did with this last batch of atties was to run them at 6v alone without the AFS attached just dripping to break them in and get them working well before adding the tank and juice. Hope you get it worked out and start to enjoy it!!! Please don't give up on it. Dripping sucks.

I would like to say that from the time I heared about the filler tip from Imeo I just cant without it ...It took me some time to learn how much filler I should insert in the attie ..From then every inhale is awesome !!! My throat kick is better from an attie without a filler....I guess that with an adjustable draw we will have a better result !!!

Thanks for the help guys. Don't get me wrong, I love my AFS and I do get great vapor with it. It was just that the atty's leaking issue was bugging me. But even with the leaking, I would never go back to dripping, or any other device for that matter. I would drip only to break-in the new attys as vapn suggested.

Imeo, this is great news about the new attys. When do you think they will be available? I'm still waiting for Rob to receive his inventory so I can buy more stuff. Will he have the new attys soon? Do you need some beta testers for these :D:D:D

I will have them in about a month or less my friend georgea. I am a little annoyed too from this leakage so I was thinking of some ways to avoid it. Leakage is a common problem on e-cigs and we have to stop it. I found the way so this issue will stop soon, dont worry at all.:)

Got my AFS today in the mail and this thing is the BEST!
Been vaping all evening with it and larege clouds of vapor and no burnt taste.
I first used a 901 mouth piece and it vape good. I than got a 510 mouth piece and this is the bomb. Vaping away at 6v and no burnt taste. No dripping and so far all GOOD.:D

very nice sweety, I am happy that you are pleased and you finally stopped the nightmare of dripping.
I want to ask if you cut a little the 510 cart so you dont stuff the special hole that is made on the AFS atomizer.

Have a nice vaping year my dear:thumbs:

Hi Imeo, I've been enjoying my GGT and AFS for about 3 weeks now and loving it. I have a question that I don't think anyone has asked, or at least I haven't seen it. Is there a recommended gap between the AFS and the GGT? I have it at about 2mm, but in one Lisa's pics, it looked like there was almost no gap. I know that the distance will affect the height in the lasered hole inside the AFS, but don't know if it makes much difference.

i have wondered this as well. when i leave too big a gap, i get more leaks.
i think the gap is for the breather hole but it breathes well even is the afs is butted against the ggt.

guys, I will explain.

The gap is determined from the atomizer. Its always the same. If you put the atomizer right then you will always have the same gap.

The atomizer goes inside the o-ring that is on bottom of the AFS (near the GG connector) but the other side of atty dont go inside to the other o-ring, it stops on the o-ring.

If you see my video, you will notice that I put the atomizer to the bottom of the AFS and then I put the AFS cap that is near the mouthpiece. If you do that, the upper o-ring dont go inside the atomizer and the gap between GG and AFS is always the same:)

i am one my 2nd afs atty now and loving the AFS on my GGT.
my only complaint is a metallic taste i only get with the AFS. i am sure it is from the outside of the atty being surrounded by juice. would a painted one be better or worse (who knows what the paint contains).
will it go away after a while. should i clean the atty first? maybe a pyrex atty is a good idea.

Not sure how you would get rid of that taste. I got that once on an atty that was not in the AFS so I don't really think it has anything to do with the AFS itself. I was using it on another device at the time. And it just started that metal tasting thing out of the blue too. Cant really attribute it to anything but the atty. It may go away after some use though. Maybe you could burn it off with a good hour or two of 6v vaping. It was so bad that I just tossed that atty. Maybe someone else has had this also and could tell us how to deal with it. I know those AFS atties are like gold once you get used to using it.

i had it on the original afs atty but not as bad...this one is much worse....it is working fine but i just had to change it to a reg. 901 because of the taste. It could be that i am more sensitive to it because i am vaping 26 mg ecopure rich which is not a strong taste.
i think i will try to crest pro the afs atty tonight and see if that does it.

i loved my new Slim until the 2nd day when my wife took it from me. guess i need a grant or super slim.
