I take a metal dental pick to mine before using them to make sure the hole is actually open. This works if they get clogged up also. A sewing needle works also.

That's a very fat battery, not good for us (as PVs currently stand anyway)

I use sharp pointed tweezers to check the AFS hole.

So while my poor GGTS is waiting by the side I gave a shot at AFS with a regular 901 passthrough (actually a cartomizer one but I guess it's the same thing) and my first attempts were lousy.
Then I blew through the laser hole and things went good
When I used just the cart, I tend to get a lot of fluid in my mouth. Then I used one of my used ones with filler in it and now it's better. I know you guys don't recommend it but for this short time I'm testing it works for me.
Perhaps it's my carts? I have the ones from healthcabin.

If you feel liquid in your mouth then the filler is the best solution. Who said that is not recomended? But be careful when you put the catridge with filler inside because its too long and covers the laser hole. So cut the catridge a little or put a little filler inside the atty and then put only the catridge without its brown extension.
Thanks Imeo, when you say brown extension, what exactly do you mean? Is that the part of the cartridge that stops being completely round shaped? As mine are all black. Im probably missing something simple
And it does seem to depend on the liquid. But when it does hit it is awesome. My mouth senses are a bit screwed, must be the cold or something and trying tons of liquid the other night.

So pg is better than Vg to use in the AFS.
The lazer hole in the TW atomizer is going to be moved(don't know where).
801/510 atomizers could be made, but I didn't catch if it would need a whole now cup for this or just the cap.
Will super T end caps work on the afs? I didn't see one post asking, or even saying that they have tried it yet.
The AFS holds how much liquid? 2/3eds correct? How low does it get when you have too add more? Does the liquid change colors from going in and out of the afs when it needs to be refilled?

The super T tip does work with the AFS no problem. They do change the air flow somewhat and affects the juice flow a bit. I noticed this and do not use them on the AFS now. It seems that a small hole is needed to get the juice to flow as needed. I found the best mouthpiece is actually from a J118 OR the RN because you can take the inner cup out of those and use just the mouthpiece. (You wont need that drip friendly thingie anymore after using the AFS for a while...hahaha... )
The AFS holds about 4ml of juice when filled to the rim. I like mine at about 2/3 full though. So that is about 3ml. When totally full it just flows all the time and floods the atty quick. The juice should not change color. It does not flow back into the AFS as far as I know. The hole is sooooo small... I can go for about 4 hours before I notice it needs more. But then I am a really HEAVY vaper. Normally at work I can get almost the whole day out of one tank. Maybe top it off at the end of the shift.

Next time buy batts from me and you'll get them all at the same time.
You need to use the RN4075 cart which has the brown bit that can be removed from it. Alternatively, if you use a one-piece cart, you will need to cut away a small bit of the cart so that the AFS hole isn't blocked.
Yes, you can use a small piece of filler inside the atty (not inside the cart) if needed.

maybe you should test some smaller filler to put...I was using the AFS for 15 days (at least) to make it work really good...You have to find its tricks!
Yep, try adding some VG to your juice if you are suffering a bit of a leaky atty - this shouldn't be an issue with the newer ones when they come through......

So I made a temporary solution which proved very sweet. I took a small bandage (for hand or something) cut it and wrapped around the end of the atomizer. Now I actually don't see the air hole but the air comes in as normal as this material isn't very thick.
Then at the very end of the atomizer I used a small rubber (I think it's for teeth braces or something as they are very small) to keep it tight.
Now the leak doesn't go anywhere beyond the atomizer

getting metallic taste on 901 AFS atties. Has this ocurred before and what were the solutions? Currently left them soaking in Vodka to see if that will remedy my problem.
