to have lasted forever! Today I've made it one full month without a single "analog" -- (I really dislike that term for combustible tobacco products, by the way...)
I started my vaping journey earlier this spring, but only succeeded in reducing my cigarette usage from 2 packs per day down to 1/2 pack per week by early March. At times in my life i've smoked as much as 3-4 packs per day.
When my birthday rolled around in late March as it inevitably does every year, I realized that I had been smoking cigarettes for over 40 years. (I'm 53, BTW) I decided to smoke a cigarette in "celebration" of my birthday -- since i was still in the "deprived of cigarettes" mindset and viewed it as a treat or indulgence. It tasted absolutely VILE. At that moment, the 40-year number exploded in my feeble brain, and my mindset changed from "wa-a-ah I really want a cigarette RIGHT NOW" to "Wow, I really don't need these anymore".
After countless attempts to quit (my parents even sent me to the Schick center in the early '70s --anyone remember aversion therapy?) I do believe I'm finally on the right road. I'd like to sincerely thank you all for your helpfulness and friendliness, and for all of your great advice and tips. Also thanks to V4L for great products and for having a sale on my anniversary
Here's to not only being ON the wagon, but actually taking the reins and enjoying the ride!
