I tried to quit nicotine and started feeling some "counter effects". It has three weeks. I couldn't even make my coils anymore. My hands begined to shake, I couldn't mold the coils or hold the pliers. I smoked for eleven years. I really need nicotine.

So, i did a juice about 16mg nicotine ratio and i feel in heaven. I guess I'll never quit anymore. Or maybe, use nicotine just at the stressfull moments, you know?

But now i already filled up 4,5ml of nicotine juice. I gotta finish that.

Based on that topic, someone have any alternative beside nicotine?
It happens to anyone?

I think that's the way.
I wasn't really concerned or trying hard to cut nic (heck, I wasn't trying to quit cigs when I did THAT), but I've slowly been lowering it, just to see if it made a difference. No problem so far.
When I first vaped, it was 24 mg.
Now, I think I'm mixing at 13... When you go from 18 to 17 to 15, etc, I think you hardly notice, and your body can "acclimate".
That's easy to do when you DIY your liquid.

I started at 18 a year ago, went to 12,10,8, 5, 3,2 slowly over time never felt a loss now im at zero for a month now.

Its a process. Don't be so hard on yourself.

if it is your desire to eventually taper off nicotine, and even eventually vaping, let your body down slowly and kindly. there is no rush. Just have goal in mind and you will eventually get there.

Took me 2 years to go from PAD smoker, to vaping 18mg, then down to 3mg now. :)

Not ready to get off 3mg quite yet but I do use ZERO in the evenings.....no performance required of me late at night. :) just sleeping. :)

Started at 24mg and worked down to omg. From at least 6mg, I dropped in 1mg increments, then .5mg from 1mg to 0mg, lol. Did fine and was proud of myself. Was there for several months. Became slightly irritable and unhappy the second month but thought it was from all the other stuff going on. Tried 3mg for the heck of it and promptly returned to being a happy camper. Anything below 3mg doesn't do a bloody thing for me but obviously does for other people, so 3mg it is for me. Mix in some 6mg if things get a bit a little tough. Not worrying about it anymore though, happy where I'm at.

If your goal is 0mg, perhaps, as others have suggested, trying dropping at a slower rate.

I smoked for throat hit, so lowering can be hard for me. I'm currently at about 8mg in an RBA, but that has been giving me headaches recently, so I'm going to drop that to 6-7 when I finish those bottles I mixed to get to 8. I'm still chain vaping whenever possible, but I doubt it's really about nicotine most of the time.

Keeping a tank with higher nic content on hand can greatly help with the cravings. This is the first time I hear about someone having shaky hands over this, though...

Yes, don't worry too much about nicotine, it's not much more harmful than caffeine. I was a severely addicted smoker for 40 years, I had to start at 32mg strength. Down to 24mg now and it satisfies me just as much. The nicotine addiction will naturally decrease as you wean yourself off the other 4 addictive alkaloids in tobacco. One of those, nornicotine, is highly carcinogenic, and you won't miss it. These other 4 alkaloids are chemically related to nicotine, so have the same addictive properties. They also boost the addictive properties of nicotine. As you wean yourself off by using ecigs, your dependency on nicotine will decrease. Simply decrease the nicotine strength over time, and you can quit that as well if you feel the need.

i started at 36 and dropped very slowly to 24,18. 12, 6, 3 then i realized at 3 i was vapin the crap outta my juice. so much a 30 ml wouldnt last a week. or even a couple days. So i went back up to 6 and Im feelin good. usin less. Nic is a stimulant. That's all. Its really not 'that bad'........ i dont care bout TH anymore as a lot of folks have said. I'm just down to 6 and plan on styain there..........

I immediately quit smoking forty-three months ago with my first vape (eGo batt with cartridges), :

24mg - three weeks
18mg - a year
15mg - up to now

Might try 12mg again in the near future. Tried that about fifteen months ago... not enough lung fill for moi at that time.

Guess what those with dementia, Alzheimer, Parkinson and other cognitive afflictions are given, nicotine patches!

Being 67+ years young, I'll continue to vape nic at some level prophylactically and hope fer da best!!!
