We are all entitled to our opinions, and, I rarely post a lengthy one, or one at all for that matter. Just ones I feel firmly about.
Just my 2cents...
I have bought many mods, attys, etc. in my short vaping experience. I have researched each and every one of them. There have been some that I have tried for weeks and weeks before knowing that they were not for me. Each time I sold one, I sold it to an individual that I knew loved them, or wanted one and could not obtain one. Each time I sold one, I offered it for about 10% or less than I paid for it. After all, I did use it, and considered the difference in cost as the price of experience. "Rent", if you will, for using it for that period of time.
ECF has a policy in it's classifieds of a ceiling on profiteering. That is why individuals sell them on eBay. To people with more money than patience. Also, the psychology of setting a low starting price and high Buy It Now is well established to work extremely well in the seller's favor. Also the psychology of an auction setting...people get caught up in the excitement, and pay perhaps more than they normally would have. The fear of loss is one of humankind's most powerful motivators.
Also, if I want to try a new mod or atty, I buy one. Not 3 or 4, or one every 8 weeks just because I can. I also don't buy things to try, if I know I'm probably not gonna like it. Genesis attys for me, for example. Even though I have the skills to make it work, I know that I do not want something I have to fiddle with that much constantly to make work and not leak. If you know that sub-ohm is your sweet spot, why would you even purchase a Billet Box or a Woodvil that was not designed for such. Or multiples of same.
Each one of us has our own ethics, and has to live in our own skin. My personal ethics says that putting never used vaping item up for sale that has never been out of the box, and that are extremely limited editions, or, one of a kinds, just a day or so after they were available is selfish at best, greedy at worst. To put it into today's vernacular..."Dude, that's messed up!"
End 2c/rant.

Seriously, if the guy was diabetic, would you be trying to sneakily send him chocolates? I'm all for the freedom to do what you like, but this is your health, bro. If you need to put it down for awhile, for your wife's sake if not for your own, put it down for awhile. Not that it's any of my business, but I watched my mom trying to get my dad to give up his cigars for ages, it took COPD to finally get him to put 'em down, just chiming in my
