I really love my aga t-2--if it were not for the pyrex tank, I would take it to work. I had a previous post on how I coiled it. I am doing a couple of different things. I think it is a clone tho... everyone elses have brass thumb-nuts-- my fasteners are little hex nuts. I am trying to refrain from using my needle nose pliers on anything except the top hex nut... to save on insulator wear and tear.
I am still using a screwdriver--3/32 to wrap the coil. The screwdriver gives me consistent results. Take coil off of screwdriver. Hit it w a Bic flame to heat set. Put coil back on screwdriver and tug it again
I am using 30/30mm mesh--I think it is 400. 500 worked for me too. Make a little fold on the outside edge, like the tutorial vids so as to eliminate shorts. I am using a 21g phlebotomy needle from work to wrap the mesh. A sewing needle or large safety pin would work too. I have this steel caliper from Ace hardware--rolled mesh to 2mm.
Put wick(with needle still inside) into coil. Even up wraps.
Make sure coil is snug on wick but not tight. Install coil/wick onto device. I do pos post first, since it is more difficult. I leave needle into wick, keeping wick straight up and down. Then attach neg post.
Rsst, Aga t2 i did identical. 1.98 Ω. I was amazed.
O yeah, take needle out before you ohm out or fire the device. I barely had to poke the coils with my pick to get them to glow nice c no hot legs.

Battery C ratings--are these 'constants' listed somewhere?? I am thinking about taking another stab at my Aga TD this wknd. I do not wish to go less than 1.0 Ω. I have Efest button top 2000 mah 18650 and flat top efest 18650. 1600 mah. I dont plan on vaping on this thing very much. I just want to see if i can get a good coil set up going. I have 32,30, and 28 g wire. Anything that I ever tried to do w the 28 g made the attys hot and the juice seemed to have a burny taste.
Thank You in advance :D
None of these techniques are my own...there is a wealth of information, on YouTube and ECF. I adapted techniques that I learned from videos posted by Pbusardo, eHuman, and RIPTrippers on Youtube. Petar K on Vimeo. GeekGirlVaper on multimeter use.

Drop into your local Fastenal, they'll have screws more to your liking.

C-ratings are the maximum safe continuous discharge rate of a battery. The rating number is the multiple of the battery's capacity at which it can be discharged at safely. Multiply the C-rating by the capacity (mah) to determine your maximum continuous discharge rate. (2200mah 10C --- 2200ma=2.2 amps --- 2.2 amps x 10C = 22 amps continuous discharge.)

Google search may help you find battery specifications for a particular battery. I've found it difficult to find accurate specifications for Efest batteries in general. I'm assuming you are interested in the C ratings of batteries to find their continuous discharge rate in amps. I have a list of mod batteries with their amp ratings in the following link.

To my knowledge, these specifications are accurate, and PBusardo is now using my list on his Taste Your Juice battery information page. tasteyourjuice.com/wordpress/battery-information/

I use this for reference......some have been tested to do more so if anything there may be a battery that does more....I try to keep current on the ratings as they come out or have been tested....most of these are manufacturers specs....
