So I think that I finally got my AGA-TD to work.
6 wraps on each side, 30g Kanthal. rolled 40 mm wick around 21g phlebotomy needle for each side. I guess maybe I did 'microcoils--coils wrapped around a 3/32 screwdriver.(2.4mm). I removed the coils from screwdriver, and pinched the wraps together with needle nose pliers, then hit with blowtorch. Put coil back on screwdriver, tightened. Did this a couple times for each coil.
Put coils onto wicks, Installed wick/coil assembly, doing both positives at the same time. (Thank God for coffee). Attached neg leads. Trimmed wires. 1.72 Ω. Fired her up. Right side alittle brighter. Gave her a little jiggle w my pick, then both sides glowed the same. 100% VG Almond Ry4 that I had sitting around. Nice vape, but maybe not worth doing again lol!! Redid the coil this evening. 5 wraps each side 30 g kanthal, 0.9 Ω. Vaped nice. Throat hit. View attachment 279055

Got home and redid this thing again...i am really not comfortable vaping sub ohm. 5 wraps 32g Kanthal. Used three hex nuts for post. 1.2 Ω. View attachment 279168 fired it up had a vape. It had alot of vapor ... not sure if the juice tastes any good or not. My taste buds are shot...i vow to never build this thing again... View attachment 279170
