I just bought an AGA-T last night, and had an employee at the shop build it for me (very trusted person). When there was no liquid, we could see it lighting up perfectly. Now that I put some juice in the tank, it's BARELY smoking. My batteries are definitely charged, as I just took it off the charger, and my IGO-L is lighting up perfectly. I'm using a Gus Telescopic and everything is making contact.

Thanks in advance for the help,
Calvin

Hmm weird. Your wick could be saturated but that should pass quickly vertical vaping or pulsing tge coil a few times. You also could be shorting out. There should be little hot spots. Did he oxidize the wick correctly. The whole initial set up should take on average 15 - 20 mins including trouble shooting. Check out youtube channels for additional help and how to. I like junkyrock13 tutorials he takes his time and explains alot.

Rba's take a little fiddling to get them running right. Dont lose faith. You'll soon be enjoying a great vaping experience.

When you say, "barely smoking" are you checking this with the cap off or are you basing this on taking a drag?

If you are taking a drag and there is barely any vapor, does it taste harsh? (This can be caused by poor wicking).
If it tastes metallic, there are shorts and hot spot still that need to be worked out, if it is just harsh, it's a wicking issue.
Hitting the fire button with the cap off, do the coils glow? (If so, this is caused by poor wicking and will give a harsh taste).
Drip directly on the coil, put the cover on and try again, does the problem temporarily go away?
Make sure the air-hole is lined up with the wick also.

How was the wick made? (solid/hollow?) What size piece of mesh did your buddy start out with?

Going to guess it's a wicking issue and you're not getting enough juice. Drip some juice directly onto your coil/wick and see if you get more vapor. Also, if you see any coils light up after you dripped juice on it, then there is a minor short that needs to be dealt with.

noob question this is my 1st rba aga t2.. how long do you change your oxidize ss mesh? do i have to change it every week?

I've got a couple of wick & coil sets that are 6 months old. I almost never change the wick, unless it's to switch from a straw to a solid roll. I still keep the old wicks in reserve. I flush the tank & wick with 190° water through the fill hole (a couple of 10ml syringes full) about every third tank (or when the coil gets gunky, or the juice gets nasty).
