I noticed that the threads on the center tube of the AGA-T are the same as a 510 connector...
This made me intrigued, so i descided to try something....
I chose to go this route, because now, i can easily go from a geni setup, back to a 510 setup without having to completely disassemble my tank.
I put this here instead of its own thread because i wanted to give Studiovap credit, because if it wasnt for him, i wouldnt have a first gen AGA-T to destroy.

I have 2 and they are awesome...
The RSST with the SG-1 attached directly to the bottom of the tank. No atty base. The SG-1 threads on to the center post of the RSST in place of the base. Its awesome.
Here's my 2nd kit with the Steam Turbine...
Nice kwalka! On the RSST, what is holding the positive post in place without the base? Doesn't it screw into the base 510 adapter to offset the load from the spring?
The Fusion SG-1 Hybrid adapter has exterior threads that match the mod and the center is a 510. So the adapter threads on to the protruding center post that comes thru the bottom of the tank. There is a small allen screw in the adapter that helps to hold the adapter in place once its threaded on to the 510 center post.
That's nice, but the RSST doesn't have a 510 thread on the center post, it's a thinner thread !!!
You are correct. I forgot I used a Dremel to remove enough material out of the bottom of the RSST so it will fit down inside the tube. That threads on to the center post first.
Yeah, when I was making my latest u-can/RSST hybrid I wanted to thread the top of the u-can to take the center post, could I get a tap? Not on your nelly. Ended up using the RSST base as a clamp through a plain hole on the u-can top after grinding off the skirt ring and a bit of meat off the remaining disc. Used a small o ring to complete the seal and it worked a treat. Could of saved another 3mm on the length if I'd found a tap, but it's small enough LOL.

Still a work in progress. I still have to sand down the plastic tank and check for leaks.

Looks like team rampage came out w/an adaptor, this may save some people some time....and it looks like something Buzzkilla came up with a while back

By the way, if you use the smokteck 4.5ml shorty tanks and cut them down(or not if you use a standard center column) you get a bit of extra capacity due to the much thinner tank wall, yes they are frosted, but just thought I'd mention it as I used one a while back and was pleasantly surprised how much extra juice i could fit in, also IBTanked does thin and thick wall custom length and diameter glass tanks at good prices, and you could actually get an AGA-T tank that fits properly for once. having said that I got like 6 extra AGA-T tanks in a coop, so will probably be finding uses for them in many projects to come.
I had an AGA-T with the centerpost that is integrated to the bottom section so I used my hacksaw and dremel to cut it from that section. my only problem is I only have one side of the column that has threads. Wish I knew how to solder with propane or if it is possible,
As for the glass tank, I used my only plastic aga-t tank. I again sawed and sanded it down.
It is working but dang JB is leaking so I am off to Home Depot to grab some o-rings, wish I should have listened to you guys.
the tube is an 18350 jm22 I borrowed from a friend, actually I refinished it for him and he hasnt picked it up yet.

its nothing new, there was a user on a different forum that made these and just gave them away. I now own one...
i just noticed that I could make one from my old AGA-T
Intergrated? or just threads jammed?.Never heard of an intergrated column on an AGA-T the column is chrome plated brass ASAIK
apparently you can silver solder SS, Ive tried it, it sucks.
How does it hold together with no threads on one end?
