Hmm... just found a video of how to setup your coil & ss wick, no oxidizing. Good video, just a little bit troublesome, but worth a try. Although he's using Kanthal D ribbon wire, but I think it's same to normal Kanthal round wire.

Interesting, I'm going to order some ribbon wire too. It can be order from Zivipf's onlineshop.

P/S: Btw, I just used Kanthal A1 30AWG wire. Wow... I think I fall in love with it... :D. I'll post some pictures of this 30g wire later.

Have you tried it with your AGA? Can I just burn the mesh with juice on it and then coil it without oxidizing first?

Yes, I'm vaping it now while typing here. :) But I still love stone wick, the taste from stone wick is unbeatable!

Yes, you can burn with juice(but I preferred not), but it will still getting shorts sometime, you need to fiddle(move back and forth) the coil until it glows evenly(troublesome huh?). Try wrap a thin layer of 100% pure cotton wool from Guardian, this can prevent shorts easily. But remember DO NOT DRY BURN IT, you will burn off the cotton wool, just add in juice and start vape. I will post some pictures of my totally no oxidize hybrid cotton + ss mesh wick here tomorrow. Sleepy now...

cotton wool eh.. wont it get burned after a while..

That's why I said, "DO NOT DRY BURN IT". If it's wet, it won't burn. ;)

Edit: I have been used the 100% cotton wick alone in my old Vivi & Mini Nova for a while before I got the AGA-T+s. Never get burn before unless it's out of juice. But never like Nova and its taste, and too troublesome to set up coil & wick...

soo uh, whats the difference between the aga-T2 and the aga-T+?
do you get two? I dont get it. I'm ordering one soon though.

I don't have AGA-T2... But I think T2 and T+ are both the same. T2 is actually a T+, only its come with glass tank.

Here, detail from its manufacturer:

AGA-T2

Notice the Product Detail, it did mentioned "stainless steel + PC" and "stainless steel + glass". Did I helping? :D

Haikal as it have been mentioned many times before there's no need to oxidize the mesh, I am just a newbie and have set up my coils with the petar k method and it works just fine, and even better if you dry burn the wick a couple of times.

Is there any noticeable differences in flavor when using a glass tank vs plastic?

Depend on what flavor you use. (There's list of flavors that will possibly effect plastic tank in post #75 in this thread) So far I haven't taste any different between glass and plastic tank. But I did saw the plastic tank turned blur after using Cola juice...(scary) then I began searching for glass tank, so I found AGA today. :)

Here my clone DIDs with plastic tank, the left one is what I mean... scary or not?

The right one is new, but I won't use them no more. They're chrome plated brass, there do has lot of different between chrome plated and stainless steel. Chrome plated tasted little like Autosol sometime, stainless stain taste is just pure.

Well cola is exactly whats in my plastic tank, though I didn't notice much difference in your tanks colors. I will wait some days and see if there is any difference in my tank.
Thanks for your advice I still a newbie but an advanced one :D

Cola is known to corrode plastic tanks (not sure if it's all brands of cola e-juice) or at least it was in the list. A little offtopic but what my bro does for offensive juice cause he doesnt have a pyrex is to use a metal vivi nova or a carto.

PS: BTW if you buy the AGA-T+ now from vapebrothers (RM95) it comes with "both" the PCC and the Pyrex. Time-limited i heard (could be wrong) and no, im not affiliated with them, just ordered one myself today for my bro =)
