Hey guys, not sure if this is a problem, or is it suppose to be this way, but i'm slowly increasing the wattage on my aga t2, and the top cap seems to be getting warm really quick but cools down just as quick. This is my first rba so i'm not sure if its suppose to be this way. No burnt taste though. VTF all getting better at higher wattage.

I'm on my second try to rebuild the wick, but i'm getting hot spots constantly. I don't know why. any suggestions?

Damn. First try was good and my second sucked.

Really hard for anyone, (who knows what they are talking about), to help you with your problems without any information or at least pictures.
Hotspots are caused by many factors. So it would be good if u can provide what you are doing so we know what to tell you if you're doing anything not right.

well my first try was just spectacular. The only difference between then and now, is i'm using a portable butane torch rather than the gas stove. I'm gonna take the wick out and try oxidize it again.

Edit:
Alright, its still not working the way I like it to, but i've found a way around it. I'm unscrewing the top portion slightly so the wick will always be positioned at the bottom when i pick it up to vape tilted.

Still hoping to get around this to be like the first time.

Edit again:
Damn it. ~.~

I think he referring to hotspot between the post and the wick. As in the part that is floating cause that's still my problem. After I eliminated my hotspots on the coil itself, this one came about and snapped my coil. Ran out of coil alr. Any suddgestions on this hotspot? Ive already ried not putting too much tension wen screwing the coil to positive post alr.
