A big pet peeve of mine is when I see someone post in a supplier forum and comment about some other product and then they get reamed by somebody telling them not to comment about other products or suppliers because they are in a sub-forum meant only for comments about the specific sub-forum supplier...

I think it's in the TOS for the forums but it's also considered bad ettiquette.

The comma should have come after the (I hope), not before.

Not everyone has English as their first language and to attack someone for their lack of proper grammar or spelling is totally out of line. It is not that difficult to understand what was said/meant in PRBoy's post.

It seems pretty obvious to me that if someone is going to respond to him, they at least owe him the courtesy of trying to understand or at the least, asking him for clarification instead of abruptly shutting him down.

PRBoy, I understood what you were saying, and I agree with you. It is too bad that not everyone is tolerant and patient.

great...as long as you want to, you will learn the English language...and then turn it into Spanglish...my son is learning signing out loud....he's hearing. gf is deaf...so he speaks aloud with sign language to everyhing

No problem, PRBoy. I'm just sorry that some people don't have the patience to try to understand what someone else is saying--especially since this is an international forum. I have been able to understand everything that you have written here.

My deceased husband was from Mexico and did not speak a word of English, and much less had the capability of putting it into written words. I learned to speak Spanish in order to communicate with him. You are doing quite well with putting your thoughts into the written form of the English language, and I commend you for your efforts.

You have no reason, whatsoever, to apologize to anyone.

I've had good experiences with Vapor4Life thus far and see nothing wrong with them as a company providing a service. However, I think SR219 and Mike are right overall. You can say what you like but don't try and force it on everyone else because of some phoney consensus. And I'm sure it could be said that there was no "forcing" going on, etc., etc., but it was the tone of the post that led to Mike, 219 and others to disagree. Opinions are fine but why do people have to even bring things like this up? There is definitely some group-think going on in this forum but it's no big surprise, is it? If you post something that the "group" disagrees with you're going to get attacked, that's what mobs do, don't be shocked when it happens. A veiled response might go something like this, "Why do you have to be so negative?" I'll translate that for everyone: "Why don't you think like me? You should think like me and because you don't think like me I'm going to take offense at you, and so is my gang (Family?)."

Look at things how you wish but don't try and make those who disagree with you seem like bad people. We can be friends and get along without subdividing into gangs. I've got a family and this forum ain't it! There are people here that are cool but I don't really know them from Adam. I guess I'm not part of the family? Sheesh!
