I've looked at some reviews. Seems like it works fine, but it doesn't appeal to me.

I got mine like 2 weeks ago and I like it a lot. I used it as a genny for the first week, now its a dripper and it performs just like my igo-L its worth the price. I love that it is versatile, and it does work well on both modes.
I got mine 2 days ago, love the fit and finish of it and it vaped pretty good until I decided to try rewicking it with cheesecloth.... now all I get on my eVic is "atomizer short" even though I've rebuilt the coil 3 times.... I'm still new at the rebuildables so I'm sure I screwed up something. Still love the AGI though, once I get it working again it will be my main vape.
What gauge wire are you using & how many wraps?
Seeing as your not using mesh wick it shouldn't short, the only thing I figure is the coil is too low a resistance & the pv sees it as a short.

From what I've heard the positive post is lacking for use as a genesis and the base plate tends to leak as a dripper. Might wanna grab some screws/tiny orings to replace the headless ones it comes with for dripper mode.
32 Kanthal 5 wraps, then tried with 4 wraps (twice) it read 1.6ohms on the last try then went to "atomizer short"....... gonna try it again tonight.
