Inquiring minds want to know, what's a Gold Member?

From Facebook:
and as you know Randy (as well as any Gold member), Ahlusion was always structured differently from other businesses - at least the motives were. Feedback (profiling etc) were always unique and used differently.

With boba tea listed but unavailable and the spirited exchange on facebook.. I think Wald has taken a about face on the Boba removal. Sounds like there will be a revamp on the coupon feedback system and a coupon may be a reward for feedback. I love Ahlusion juice and rarely order from other vendors...but in the wake of this shakeup i guess I'm going to have to rethink this position a bit and try a new vendor now and then. {i feel I have 2 many eggs in one basket} When the new website appeared there was many glitches that actually led to my lack of feedback and with 2 feedback emails sent with zero response... it made me feel my feedback was ignored or not even received. It falls on both parties here but if there is no reply to my feedback emails how can I believe they were even making a difference? It is strange that they re list Boba tea on the website and it appears in the 10 most popular juices on the site??

I think everyone should find other vendors they enjoy -- but especially ones located in their own states. Have you all read the deeming regs? Do you see that every requirement has the clause "for interstate commerce"? I'm pretty sure it would be wise to get friendly with some local juice makers. Or plan your vacations around a trip to Flint, garden spot of southeastern Michigan

However the regs happen, and whenever they happen, there will be a period during which vendors may continue sales without filing new product apps (two years as the proposed regs read). But only idiots or those who don't care what happens would structure their future plans around selling like mad men till the day they go out of business. I would expect those serious about their businesses will be ready to execute their long term plans as soon as possible. And those plans may favor B&M sales, batch-produced liquids, and fewer nic, flavor and PG/VG options.

And I think the reason I had to have Strawberry Shortcake was because of that pic -- as embarrassing as it is to say.

Not as embarrassing as one guy who shall remain nameless -- Big Juicy-- who DIDN'T try Smooth Criminal for months or years because of the picture on the website. Now, of course, he loves it as mothers love their children.

By the way, Mr. Steep, have you TRIED three-month-old Strawberry Vanilla Cake? 'Cause if not, you shouldn't say another word about it!

Well, that will HAVE to be a re-order cause this ain't gonna make it. I have no problem with buying a 60 mL of this. I don't play with large (larger than 30 mL) bottles, that is, unless, we are talking DK-Tab. :D

Hi Mann, it's been too long. Thanks to you I mix Tab no less than 240 mls at a time

Gold members are the folks that have been customers of Ahlusion for a long time. :)

Interesting. I presume membership has it's priviledges? Might explain some of the replies when anyone was concerned about Ahl and recent events. At least from where I'm sitting.

Since Ahl put it out there about Gold Membership on FB, maybe its not so secret anymore and you can share? Or was that an "oopsie"?

Actually no.....way back in the day it use to mean once you spent so much/placed so many orders, you received a permanent discount. Since the new site/changes that discount was gone.....I honestly don't believe it means anything more than long time customer now.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong.......

ETA: I see Wlad responded to your question on Facebook, so see...no big secret. ;)

I just loaded up Shipwreck in a tank for the first time. Will report back later on what I think about it.

I know, I know-- "big deal, do you have to tell us about it?". Yes, I do. You see, I don't feel like playing that game with the wifey this morning. You know, the one where I tell her, "Babe, I just loaded up Shipwreck this morning.". She then pretends to be interested, and I pretend to think she's actually interested. We go back and forth for a bit about it, both pretending even more.

Then she says, "Hey, let's go to that fancy seafood restaurant. We haven't been there in a while", and then I dip into my future Provari fund yet again. It's a vicious cycle I'd rather avoid.

Yes, it was back when Wlad actually read our thread on ECF and we were a small family -- we had a much more direct line of communication back then. We are still fam, it's just really big now and Ahl is too. Just different times, that's all.

Just had to post an update to my initial impressions on my first Ahlusion order.
The tarte tatin apple is long gone, and I adored every puff!

Just polished off mango lassi - this one definitely turned into outstanding after a steep. So rich and fruity and creamy! I would re-order this without a doubt.

After about 3 weeks of steeping, I had revisited the classic boba tea that I was so disappointed with at first, and it was much better the second time. The spicy, pungent note I was getting at first started to mellow out, and I plan to give it another try after some additional steeping.

The two biggest surprises were the orange creamsicle and the coco-berry cream. I really enjoyed the orange creamsicle FOOB, but didn't like it as much when I tried it again a few weeks later. I think this may just be that an orange flavored vape just isn't something I could enjoy regularly, just in small doses. Still a very nice juice, but I don't know that I'd re-order. The coco-berry cream, on the other hand, had started out as unvapeable to me due to the overpowering, musty dry flavor I was getting from the coconut. I just decided to load up a tank with this after a couple of months steeping since it smelled so good in the bottle. OMG - I'm LOVING this now. The coconut totally took a back seat and lost that unpleasant note I was getting earlier, and the berry and cream came forward beautifully. I would definitely consider reordering this again, and this time I won't even touch it for a couple of months. This gives me hope that maybe I could find other coconut liquids I would enjoy if I am willing to wait for them to come around - I was starting to have my doubts about this.

Anyway, just thought I would let everyone know that I am now a major fan of Ahlusion :thumb:
