B5, I don't know if it had been said that anyone thought Boba Tea had coconut in it, but just that the combination of elements in tandem makes for a vape that reads as some part coconut. It's not heavy or even particularly vocal (Boba Tea on in its own is rather light), but I do get an element of coconut (even though I generally dislike coconut flavored anything). Oddly enough, I actually liked Boba Tea with coconut. Strange but true!

I almost exclusively dripped on 510 attys since I started vaping. It gave me something to keep my hands and mind busy so I could drop a 2 pad 46 year habit. I also used evods but did not like the muted flavor. I still love my 510 attys and dripping but I am infatuated with my R91 and the new bent to flavors I thought I knew. Some do not taste that different but some are like I am tasting elements in them for the first time. A different perspective.

I am lazy. I am finding I enjoy the coil building, but the cotton ball wicking is being a challenge to me. I am having major problems getting the amount of cotton right. I want to explore using that Sephora cotton makeup pads, I forget the name of the cotton. Maybe that will make wicking easier for me.

If you are having troubles with using just the right amount of cotton for your wicks, the koh gen do cotton could solve that. They come in little pads, that easily cut into strips that are a breeze to thread into micro coils. I've used nothing else for a couple of weeks now, and still haven't used half of one pad

I just ordered a 60 pack for $12 off Amazon. I'm hoping it will be easier to get consistent density. When I unroll cotton ball, the density varies for a given section. I don't really find it hard to cut even strips, but it might be thin in an area, even if the cut is straight.

There have been several Ahlusion flavors that I did not like when fresh out of the mail. The most notable was Smooth Criminal. After all the praise that was heaped on that flavor and the fact that my dripping mentor loved it, I waited patiently, forever and a day, for it to steep. After 6 weeks it is heavenly.

Most all improved significantly. A couple are just not to my tastes. I find that many new vapers do not have the patience or the knowledge to wait for a long steep or do not have the luxury of a juice stash to be able to do so. Plus, some vapers are looking for different things from their juices. A cinnamon red hots vaper may not appreciate something like a delicate tea or a fruit cream or layered flavors.

THIS...is why I am waiting until Monday, even though this weekend makes it a month from the 'born on' date - I want to wait a month from the time I first opened the bottles. Of my first batch, which is sitting there mocking me, only three of the five flavors even made it to a month - I had more than a few moments of weakness and killed the bottles of Cafe Au Lait and Kona Kick before the four-week mark even hit, they were just too good FOOB to let them sit! I already have 30mL bottles of those two resting along with my second batch of 10mL samples.

The three I have left (Cherry Cola, Chai Latte, Boba Tea) all tasted like they needed time to rest and continue blending. If they're still not 'there' yet back in the box they'll go for another couple of weeks, as I have seen quite a few posts like this extolling the virtues of 'rested' Ahlusion juices since placing my first order.

Yep, that's where I got mine from. I pull the pads in half, that gets the density even and then cut a small strip. Works like a charm.

This has happened on occasion. I usually separate the layers a bit after cutting a strip and toss a bit of it and when you do that you can tell if it has a bit of inconsistency. Same as DMSKA, I had a friend sent me 4 pads and I am not even half way through the first after over a month of using it

No way I'm giving up my cotton balls. There's an art to twining those wicks and I spent quite awhile learning it. lol

We're about to outgrow our old "home", so it's time to build a new one!

Here are our previous homes:

Ahlusion Part 1: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/333129-ahlusion.html

Ahlusion Part 2: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/446286-ahlusion-e-juice.html

Welcome home fellow Ahlusion fans, welcome home! :D

Ahlusion E-Juice Part 3 How International of you :)

I was catching up, or so I thought, back on page 1485, saw the last was 1499 and thought, 'if I get lucky, I can be first post on 1500'.
Well.... everyone already knows how that went. :D

35 pages in it's more like the facebook of juicers We may need professional help soon.

Great looking place you have here. Remodel?

So is this vendor any good? I keep hearing about them!

Oh that's Just Criminal Mann, and very Smooth

What?

Used feedback coup on the 22nd. Besides regular order to deepen the stash base I asked for Limelight and Vecchio Blend and for a sample of Canyon Sun. A couple of which I don't read about much here.

I'm not so much a Lewis and Clark on juice selection, more of a Gilligan.

As long as they're A+ juices anyway. :)

Hi everyone, I've been busy for a few days, and look what happens! The new place has kind of a different atmosphere. Or maybe it's just me.
Anyway, I tried my sample of Peaches and Cream and it tastes like pepper to me. Very strange. Maybe it's a steeper, but it's about 10 days old now. None of the other fruit creams tasted like pepper at any time!

I took the advice of Bukket5 and got Pineapple Cream sweetened, and WOW! I like it even better than Pineapple Upside Down Cake. I don't seem to be thrilled with any of the "cake" juices, sadly. This is another fruit cream winner, though!

Now a question for those who have tried Ahlusion's Pina Colada... I am definitely a coconut lover, but I haven't tried Pina Colada yet. I have been disappointed in Pina Colada vapes because every one I've had in the past is too sharp, and missing the rich creaminess of a real Pina Colada drink. Is Pina Colada actually creamy, or not?

I heard that when you go to Ahlusion Cafe, you can sample the Express juice line, but you have to bring an atty to drip with. I guess if you forget and go without an rda, you're out of luck for sampling, then. Can anyone confirm this? I'm probably going to be visiting there soon and I do intend to sample.

I agree those cotton pads are the easiest and most uniform for wicking, by far.

Still keeping my fingers crossed for a Memorial Day sale! Now I'm back to yard work again, ggrroan.

I have a box of the Koh Gen Do - and I didn't care for it. May try it again, but when I wicked with it, I tasted the cotton, and I don't taste it with my organic cotton balls.

I don't either. I think there is a really big difference plus I boil mine after unrolling them. Easy to strip some off before twineing.

If you forget, they'll sell you a 306 for a dollar. Really. So I asked if I could buy ten if them. That's a no.

Wlad has lots of atty's at the shop, so you could always grab a cheap one, if you didn't have one with you. ;)

Stardust with a breeze- 6 months aged. A delightful summertime break from the heavier flavors. Blueberry fans should try it!

Oh you better believe Star Dust will be the last blueberry I will ever try. I've had sooo many disappointments. On my next order for sure.

Hi Mr. Mann, it's nice to have you posting again. I agree about how Boba Tea reads but we had 2 people post that Boba Tea had coconut in it and DJLEC was worried about trying his 2 bottles that have been steeping since he had a reaction to coconut and he was not going to try them. I think some are thinking the tapioca is coconut. Ahlusion coconut is my top favorite and I get no coconut flavor from it at all. The two are similar so I can see how some taste buds can believe them to be the same. But they are two different flavors and I think DJLEC will be able to tell the difference when he tastes it. So I contacted the source to make sure he put them back in his stash box!

Boba Tea is too good of a juice to not try. I'm glad to hear you like it with coconut! It really comes alive in that combo. I also like it with chocolate or coffee but I like everything with chocolate or coffee.

I'm so glad you're liking the Pineapple Cream! My subliminal message is working. Lol. Yes, Piña Colada is THE one. I searched forever and gave up. It took me ages before I tried Ahlusion's since I didn't want to be disappointed again. I finally ordered it and it is everything. I get it sweetened same as the Pineapple Cream. It's rich and creamy with no sharpness.

The pepper taste sounds like it is probably the nicotine. That should steep out. Just give it time. Is it a higher nic than you usually get? I would put it away for 2-3 weeks and then try it again. I remember reading that Ahlusion was making a lot of changes so that juices didn't require as much time or no time for steeping. Peaches and Cream is one of the oldest creams and it may still require a longer steep time. We're getting spoiled with all these FOOB juices!

No yard work here. We've got a forest fire a couple hundred miles away and have all the windows closed to keep the smoke out. The air quality is horrible. Going to change the carto in my tank and vape Piña Colada today! You guys have me thinking of pineapple and coconut. So I'll spend the afternoon filling tanks and changing cartos.

I've been neglecting my carto tanks since getting the Aspire Nautilus. Been vaping a lot of Ahlusion Mocha. It's so easy to fill and change coils plus it tastes great in it. But those darn coils are expensive! Got in a 50 pack of cartos from Health Cabin. Couldn't beat the price even with DHL shipping and it was at my door in 4 days. They're the Boge slotted cartos. $1.30 each with shipping. I really like the slotted. Seems to feed the best for me with no leaking or dry hits.

This is off-topic, but I have to say it anyway.

I want to wish a happy Memorial Day to all our veterans here. I'm sending my hugs and heartfelt thanks to each of you. TexasVet, Sirius, and each one here and not here, who served our country, thank you so very much.

And to my family and friends who served with honor; my father (Marines), my uncle (Army), my ex-husband (Marines), my daughter's dear friends who are now in Afghanistan, and especially my Grandpa (Army) who fought in the Battle of the Bulge in 1945.
I will never forget and never take you for granted. Thank you!
