This is off-topic, but I have to say it anyway.

I want to wish a happy Memorial Day to all our veterans here. I'm sending my hugs and heartfelt thanks to each of you. TexasVet, Sirius, and each one here and not here, who served our country, thank you so very much.

And to my family and friends who served with honor; my father (Marines), my uncle (Army), my ex-husband (Marines), my daughter's dear friends who are now in Afghanistan, and especially my Grandpa (Army) who fought in the Battle of the Bulge in 1945.
I will never forget and never take you for granted. Thank you!

Tyvm Mia -- That avatar is my uncle Charles who was killed in action in France in 1944. He was 20 years old. I didn't get to serve my country because of a medical condition. But my brother volunteered for Vietnam. My dad served in Europe during WW2, and other uncles served during WW2 in the Pacific.

I was looking at your uncle's uniform and it got me thinking about my Grandpa. I have a very similar photo.
I hope you like the Stardust! I can't find a good blueberry either, and I have given it up. I think my tastebuds just don't detect blueberry in vapes.

I think you could be right. I hope I'm not like that also. Maybe it's because us blueberry lovers are use to picking and eating fresh blueberries? Who knows dear. :)

Thank you for posting that Mia. I too want to say thank you to all who serve. My Dad was in WW2 and used to tell me the story of when he was on an aircraft carrier during the Battle of Lady Gulf in the Pacific. Our ships were hemmed in with approaching enemy and there was lots of firing back and forth and a more planes approaching. His ship was hit and he had to try to get all the guys out of the engine room. He got up on deck and saw the mayhem and the approaching Japanese bombers. Grabbed the only weapon he had, his pistol, and started firing. Big battle, many lost, but we took the day in the end. I just can picture my father on that deck firing his pistol at the approaching planes.

Sorry guys. Have not remembered that story for almost 20 years.

Oh! Thank you so much for that. My Dad hardly ever talked of his service in WW2. He was a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy. Lied about his age to join the Navy.

I remember when the movie Midway first came out and it was the first movie with surround sound. I think I was still a teenager. My fiancé and I took my Dad to see it and I remember sitting there and when the battle scene in the movie started and the surround sound came on my Dad turned as white as a ghost. It never occurred to me at the time that he may have that kind of reaction. He commented later on how realistic that new sound system was. We never spoke of it again.

Indeed: a hearty thanks to all who served and sacrificed. My grandfather spent WWII in Europe with the Army. He very rarely spoke about it, except to share some of the funnier stories of hijinks, so I know he saw some pretty hairy stuff. Rest his soul.

A little OT but since I vape almost exclusively Ahl, you guys will give better answers than anyone else:
Has anyone tried the new Aero Minis? And can you compare them to the Mini Protank II?
I know most of you are past that and onto the fancier rba/RDAs, but since most of my vaping is on the go (crappy long commute), the Kangers are just easiest for me. I do use a dripping atty at home but that's only maybe 10% of the time. I just ordered an Aero Mini and hoping it makes for better flavor than the Mini PT2.

My dad was in the Battle Of The Bulge..he only spoke of it once before his death. Said he has never been as cold as he was in Bastone.

I'm so bummed right now...so I placed an order on Mother's Day and was expecting to get it this Monday (30ml Cafe Au Lait (yumyum), 30ml Just Criminal, 10ml Mocha, 10ml Mango Lassi). The tracking says it was delivered on that day, but I never received my package. I noticed the delivery time posted was much earlier than normal, and after calling the local PO it was confirmed the mailman wasn't in my area at that time. So it was definitely delivered to the wrong address. The lady who talked to me asked for my phone # but never called back. :(

Has anyone here had an experience similar to mine, and is a happy ending to this situation possible? I'm running low on CAL and am getting kind of antsy. :D

Happy Memorial Day. I think Ahlusion is the right place for this special day since it was created by a Marine to keep Marines safe. My husband is retired from the Air Force. He spent 20 years in Search and Rescue. My grandfather was in the Army and was part of the last U.S. Horse Cavalry in World War II. My dad was a Marine in the Korean War.

Thank you to everyone for their service. I'm proud to be part of the military family.

Have you tried Blueberry? I know someone that says it tastes just like fresh picked blueberries. She had just spent the summer picking wild blueberries in Alaska before she tried it. Also said the same for Sweet Strawberry.

Just today my family had a 90th birthday luncheon for my uncle Bill -- he was in the Battle Of The Bulge (26thYD). He's told me stories about that cold. I can't imagine the toughness it took to survive that -- not to mention everything else.

Hi Mr. Mann, it's nice to have you posting again. I agree about how Boba Tea reads but we had 2 people post that Boba Tea had coconut in it and DJLEC was worried about trying his 2 bottles that have been steeping since he had a reaction to coconut and he was not going to try them. I think some are thinking the tapioca is coconut. Ahlusion coconut is my top favorite and I get no coconut flavor from it at all. The two are similar so I can see how some taste buds can believe them to be the same. But they are two different flavors and I think DJLEC will be able to tell the difference when he tastes it. So I contacted the source to make sure he put them back in his stash box!

Boba Tea is too good of a juice to not try. I'm glad to hear you like it with coconut! It really comes alive in that combo. I also like it with chocolate or coffee but I like everything with chocolate or coffee.

Oh, okay. I see. I try to stay up on the posts in the thread, but I wasn't aware that it wasn't just about it really tasting like coconut but some thinking it actually is coconut in the liquid. I can totally see why one would think so and if I had tried the liquid blindly, I may have suspected similarly. But once again, it's wild how when you do taste the Coconut version of Boba Tea you really are able to tell the difference. Then it's like, "oh, now that's the Coconut Boba Tea."

Dad was with V Corps 254th Engineer Combat Battalion. I've read stories but when I wrote for his records they told me that all records were destroyed in a big fire. They only sent his medical record.

The coconut in Pina Colada isn't really that strong. Delicious though.

See, I have a strong aversion to anything Pina Colada from a Pina Colada eliquid to a well, Pina Colada! LOL. Can't do it. The only reason I even tried Boba Tea Coconut was because Wlad has this way of offering vapes where you don't exactly feel like you can say no. haha. Who knows though, those kinda vapes may be exactly what my stash is missing.

Wait a minute....I think I have some Ahl Pina Colada.

{Edit: Nope, it's Blueberry Colada. I can't remember who sent this to me (maybe FloPo?), but I will give it a try. Is there coconut in this too??? Smells like it.}

The flavor is better in the Kanger AeroTank Mini but dripping flavor it definitely is not. I use iTaste VV 3.0s with Vision Auroras/HH.357s for flavors in my secondary rotation. That basically works as a VW bottom feeder and would give you better flavor for commuting.

Keeping all who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice as well as all who loved them in my thoughts and prayers this Memorial Day weekend.

Okay. So I just dripped some Blueberry Colada and while it isn't bad, I think I ain't feeling it because it is a sweetened version. (And I actually don't get much coconut coming though in the vape if it is some in there). I haven't had much luck when trying any of the sweetened versions though. I've only gotten them second hand, but it makes me realize that I dig their normal level of sweetness even though it is generally tempting to order one of their liquids sweetened.

Thnx for that info. I think I will roll with it. Got several sweetened and it was a tad to rich for my taste.
