I think that kind of one-foot-in, one-foot-out, disclaimer-laden pontification is the best you can ever hope for coming from those guys. I can almost smell the grinding of his teeth as he is having to admit to this much. It must KILL them to say this stuff.

Or just "TOTALLY CLUELESS"! If you are not around anyone who smokes, don't know anyone who smokes, it might be possible to be "totally clueless" Up until the past 6-12 months, I never saw any advertisements, no talk on TV, not a lot of brick and mortar stores. And what is on the media is a lot of misinformation. So unless you actually spend some time talking to some "real e-cigarette users" and hear their stories you wouldn't have a clue about what was really happening.

Of course not! And I have never known anyone over the age of 18 to enjoy girl scout cookies!

I couldn't agree more. Teh Stoopid burns, on both sides of this particular argument. On one hand, obviously the vendor is going for a very specific flavor, which s/he clearly enjoys, and feels enough other people will also enjoy. On the other hand, how hard is it to come up with a clever play on words that gets the message across without just stealing the trademark? Come on, people. Another example of how Ahl is ahead of the game (W&A Sasparilla anyone?)

And then for "them" (whoever made the decision) to make a mountain out of a molehill by injecting the "marketing to children" meme into a story that really is not about that at all. Everybody loses.

Yeah, we are in agreement. I never bought the whole "kids" bit just as I never bought into it when they said that American Spirits was marketing to kids by the color (yep, the color) of their cigarette packages. I honestly don't know how you can out-maneuver the curiosity of children -- maybe market menthol as Been Gayish? LOL. There's little room for the predicament of flavors (assuming there is a predicament) considering that, from my experience, and especially nowadays, kids palates and adults pAlates vary very little.

And even if you only have tobacco flavors, are we to the believe that tobacco is not enticing to kids? Surely there's been a kid or two attracted to tobacco!

I read a lot about steeping for various A+ juices, but not much about where y'all steep. Dark (no light environment)? Bright? Warm? Cool? I had a few of my new bottles in a covered shoe box until it occurred to me that they might benefit from some light. Where does your juice live while it's steeping?

Mine stays in the kitchen cabinet. Dark and mostly cool, since I don't cook much, lol.

I guess it depends on what your goal is. I believe Ahlusion recommends opening the cap for just a moment, then storing in a dark place, and I'd assume cool is better than warm. The idea being to get some air mixed in, but to otherwise allow the flavor to keep for as long a time as possible. I think if oyu wanted to speed up the process, introducing light and warm (but not TOO warm) air would move things along.

Personally I keep mine in a cabinet that has translucent doors (Ikea) which allows some light in, because that's where there's room, but where it's out of reach of the kiddo, and not mixed in with the rice and beans. :) If I had my druthers, I'd keep it in a fridge, away from any light. I have enough of a stash at this point that I have no need to hurry things along. I'm cool with waiting. Plenty to vape in the meantime.

Sure. That way it will keep longer. I have some unvaped bottles that are going on 6-7 months old. Safe to say they're steeped enough, but I haven't got to them yet. I'd hate to throw them out! :p

I wonder what happens to juices (A+ in particular) when they are "too old". I have lots of 6+ month-old juices that are still great, with no noticeable degradation. Are they like most vitamins and they just get weaker over time, or might they actually go bad?

I know it's come up before... maybe in this thread even. I have had a few get weak on me (like vitamins :) ) but never had one go bad, where it turned into something gross. But I've read about a few of those.

I would never eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch because I am an adult. I swear I wouldn't eat that stuff. Please believe me.

Maybe if Wlad and other vendors whipped up some new flavors that turn kids off all this could be avoided. Fire Roasted Brussels Sprouts...Glazed Carrot...Dilled Fingerling Potato. :)

You got a straight answer. They are NOT macerated, but they are all extracted tobacco. Vanilla WW is a steam-distilled tobacco. And Ahlusion doesn't use Chinese flav orings for any of their liquids.

Thank you y cherry y. Hope this finally answers that question for good.

I just put Boba Tea Coconut back in the Kraken, replacing Melonade. Melonade is a very solid and refreshing vape for me. Had it with me through a few hot days. It's nice to have BTC back, too. The coconut is back and really tasty. I need another Kraken!

I'm really looking forward to trying Just Criminal, which I have on order. It's interesting that some have described the chocolate as dark, while some, like ShariR, say it's a milk chocolate. Of course, everyone tastes things differently, so it's not surprising, just a bit intriguing. I actually like plain SC XPress FOOB (perhaps 2 weeks steeped), so I'll probably like JC early, as well.

I will be very interested to hear your take on the Just Criminal. I get the lighter, sweeter milk chocolate. I also found that I could vape it pretty much right away and I can not vape Smooth Criminal right away. I am looking forward to see how it may change as it ages.

Sunlight will degrade the nicotine in eliquid, so definetly don't want to put them in any direct sunlight. Cool (but maybe not suoer cool/cold) is definetly better, especially if you want it to "keep" longer. I once asked Wlad why they only gave their juice 6 months & he said it's because they use natural flavorings, with no preservitaves added. With that being said, I've vaped some of mine when they were past their 6 month mark & they tasted fine. Don't know if I'd vape any over a year old tho, but that's just me. ;)

I got myself an early birthday present, a Reo mini, and Caramel Pear Black Tea lived in it yesterday and was very very delicious. :) I have a 60 mil bottle steeping now. I ordered my first bottle, 30 mil, on your recommendation and have loved it from the beginning. In the Origen clone with dual micro coils at 1.1ohms it is a little bit stronger flavor than it is in the Reo with a 1.0 ohm single twisted micro, but I love it in both. The 30 mil bottle that I am vaping now is about half gone with a 5 week steep, I only tasted it now and then until a week or so ago.

I switch flavors a lot every day and have quite a few favorites, so a 30 mil bottle lasts me a little longer than it would if I truly had an ADV.

Claudia, I am so glad you are enjoying it. It is my favorite non-tobacco. Remember to watch for your feedback email with the 15% off coupon code. Helps with the cost. What did you choose for your free sample?

A Reo mini? Wow. How are you liking it? Was learning to squonk a challenge? I keep getting pictures in my head of me squirting juice up into my face. Like the couple of times I failed to properly secure the top on the blender and turned it on. Do you know how hard it is to get chocolate protein drink off a 9ft ceiling???

In all seriousness though, while they don't have any real proof that this is a way to "market to kids," I think eliquid vendors have gotten away with murder when it comes to appropriating others' brands -- whether it's "kid-friendly brands" or just any flavor brand in general. I don't particularly care one way or another, but I think for a business to enter into a field under scrutiny since its inception, it makes for an insanely goofy practice.

[From the mind of some random elqiuid maker: "Hey, I know we are being watched an all, but how about some Coca-Cola liquid? That'd be awesome! Surely we can fly under the radar by selling that way -- Coca-Cola ain't that big, is it?"]

Now, now, Mr.Mann. We all know you prefer Crunchberries!

I am surprised that the major brands have not started lawsuits of the use of their brand names. Bet it starts when they realize there are a very few deep pockets to be picked.

I have already used two feedback coupons. lol I have Banana Cream Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, Pineapple Upsidedown Cake, Lemon Cream, and CPBT, Samples are Kent's Blend, Kona Kick, Light French Roast, and Rick's Request. Still looking for that coffee but haven't found it.

I'm going to have to try the Lemon Cream again now that it's steeped a few weeks, didn't really hit for me fresh. I like all of the rest but CPBT is my favorite of them with the BCP second.

I love the Reo, I'm not crazy about box mods so I got the mini and it is absolutely perfect for out and about, and the biggest bonus is the RM2 atty works great for either mouth hits or lung hits. We took the car out Saturday and I took it, never touched anything else all day, no leaks, no drips, absolutely no fiddle at all.

Squonking was a little challenging for about 10 minutes and within an hour I had it down pat. No worry about any juice squirting out of it at all. I think this is something you would love.

Yes the Reo is awesome! I know I love mine! No muss, no fuss! And A+ juices are great in it! Congrats on yours!
