That is only the "general consensus" among those who do not add sweetener. Funny how everyone wants everyone to like what they like.

I'm actually really grateful to Ahlusion for making my sample BVC w/o sweetener, there is a distinct taste to the SVC that I ordered with sweetener. I'm interested to compare a reorder of the SVC w/o it just to be comparing apples to apples. If that taste is from the sweetener I can see why the consensus is to omit it. Maybe the sweetener used simply doesn't compliment Ahlusion juices?

Cam the only juice I ever got with sweetened was Pearadise and after I tried that one w/o sweetener I've never ordered sweetener on anything since.

So true. For me the kayfun is a PITA to build on.

But once you find the build you like, you're golden. It's been so long since I wrapped a new coil, I wonder if I remember how. I just re-wick every 3-4 tanks and I'm good to go. I don't know anything about the Orchid, but will check it out.

I was looking at RW&B last night to add to my order...but coconut - YUCK. Anyone have any reviews on sweet surrender? Is that coconut too? I was just looking for something new to add/sample. Glad you love the LVC and Autumn Mist dear!

When I first started vaping Ahlusion we had a long discussion going about coconut in Sweet Surrender. We were all very surprised when Wlad informed us that it has no coconut since he never reveals what's in his secret mixes. It's still one of my favorites after all this time.

I feel like I taste coconut in Sweet Surrender too but I hear there is none. I taste either Peach or Nectarine, cream, something else. It def has TH and not a fruity flavored juice but def more of a creamy one

This really shows how everyone has different tastes! I know it has strawberry in it but that's the only thing I know for sure. But it doesn't taste creamy to me at all! It's a fruit blend and we'll never know everything it contains.

Yes, it does have a lot of TH. I vape it in an EVOD to cut down on the throat hit. Once it has steeped for about 6 months I like it in a tank but it never lasts that long anymore since I started using an EVOD for it.

I'm of that same mindset at this point. I think they should go back to the old SC and if they want to use that new formula have it available as EXPress or change the name to Criminal or something..lol

So who all is going to flood the support tab with with this request besides Bridget and I?

Blame everyone that has complained about the long steep times. Wlad hated all the complaints and talk about steeping. He got so sick of it he reformulated the flavors to stop the complaints. Personally, I love the way the flavors change as they steep and enjoy vaping my flavors through all of the stages.

Is Son of a Peach being reformulated? When The Ron Effect was removed I thought it was gone forever since it took close to a year to come back. It's even better now!

I am really hoovering down the Orange Blossom White Tea today.

Can you taste the mint in it? I'd love to try it but I'm afraid that the mint will kill it for me. But if its like Fijian Nights where I don't even notice the mint, that would be great. I love Ahlusion's Orange Blossom and after trying the Caramel Pear White Tea I really want an Orange Blossom White Tea!

I'm waiting for my feedback coupon so I can get a large bottle of CPWT and a sample of Autumn Mist. I also need more Ahlusion Chai Latte, Mango Lassi, Sweet Surrender, Lemon Cream, Lime Cream, Lemon Vanilla Cake, and Pineapple Cream. All in 60's.

So here is a canned response from Wlad of Ahlusion in regards to Smooth Criminal support ticket. For those who don't know Smooth Criminal recipe is not the same and tastes very different from before. I've been a huge fan of Ahlusion and have praised them many times over in these forums for years now. I was hoping for a more personal explanation for taking something that I absolutely loved to something i DON'T. Here it is.

Hi Michael,

We've had many inquiries about Smooth Criminal. We changed the base formulation, but not the actual flavorings. The change was made so it does not require a steeping time (or as long as before) - so the new formula is how it was initially intended in it's end-state. We've had an extremely small disapproval rate locally and sales have actually gone up with this new formulation, even with the increasing ECF traffic and request for the "original recipe".

Honestly I don't feel Ahlusion is forthcoming or transparent as other ejuice manufacturers such as nicoticket (as one example I'm very familiar with). The changed their Virus recipe and stated it right on the page where you order it. I never tried the old recipe, but the one they have now is outstandingly good. In their case it may have actually improved. I feel now like I can't trust them (Ahlusion), what else will they change and not make it crystal clear before ordering. The fact that they produce 80% of their flavoring in house is probably way off the mark now. It's almost at the point where the transaction itself is fraudulent.

At this point I will probably just request a refund. If I don't get it I will call my credit card company and mark it as a fraudulent transaction and let them fight it out. Ahlusion clearly doesn't care about their customers, only making a buck like most everyone else. Ok maybe the last sentence was a bit dramatic lol, it could just be growing pains. Still lost trust with a very loyal customer. I no longer follow them via facebook, also deleted a review via their facebook page and changed my Smooth Criminal review on their site to a 1 star...there is no zero. Because I had given it a 5 star in November (you can review once per juice) it averaged it out to a 3 star review and showed my original date of Nov. Now I look like Nostradamus instead of Nicetucu hee hee.

Nicetucu, I am really sorry about the changes to SC, and that they are unacceptable to you. I cannot even imagine how upset I'd be if I had only ONE EDV/ADV, and the vendor changed it rather significantly without any warning, and I ended up with a large quantity of juice I no longer even liked! I really, really hope you find a great replacement for "Classic" SC!

Hence the use of the word "general" -- i.e., the consensus does not apply to everyone. I know that you prefer most (all?) of your AHL juices sweetened, and that Bukket must have her Pineapple Cream and dark chocolate juices (but only those) sweetened, and I'm sure various other people here have 1 or 2 juices they prefer sweetened. ("Not that there's anything wrong with that!" ) I was just trying to help out someone who is new to Ahlusion; and I really couldn't care less how folks like their juices (sweetened or not), as long as they get a product they enjoy. And after all, why on earth would I?

I would not call Ahl untrustworthy. They come across as a little more secretive than the average vendor imo, and don't announce decisions in advance. Wlad just marches to the beat of his own drum. I have had a couple of issues in the past ( feedback coupons, and site definition and NET status of their tobacco's ) and my discussions with Wlad just took on strange turns. Not only did i not have the answer to my questions clarified, i came away more confused than before. I just rather deal with someone else at the company, if i have an issue or a question.

That said, i believe he makes a helluva juice for the most part and at a reasonable price with the sales and feedback coupons etc... They take care of their customers in that manner. I have learned to not take their unsatisfactory responses personally, and as long as my favorites ( the black teas, LFR, CWW and Sahara Blend) don't change in formulation, i will be ordering from them !

Have you, or any of you AHL fans, tasted a distinctive difference in the bases? I mean I use to love the base taste that is one reason I like so many FOOB. It's gone!
I almost do not recognize the latest NET tobaccos as if they contain no NET at all. Please though, this is not to start a chit slinging. It's just an honest question for someone that loves AHL juices still. I just miss the base flavor. Could be my palate has become so accustomed to it that I no longer taste it? Idk?

I have been buying AHL for 1 year now. I do not detect any difference. Bear in mind I believe in serious long steeping so I am vaping now what I bought 3-4 months ago.
I have tried a few new things FOOB, Caramel Apple and Just Criminal and Bobo Tea Coffee and thought they were all phenomenal.
I have read that there is an additive that can be added to speed up the steep time although for the life of me I cannot remember the name. I wonder if that is how he accomplished less steep time and if that is what you are tasting?

Thnx for the input Chanel. Idk what it is. That steep additive? Could be but that would explain SC and JC only. Nowhere could you find more superb juices in a line than at AHL. This changing is ridicules though. Why CHANGE a perfect thing? SC along was a gold mine. I also doubt I'll even order that one again. Just bummed and have been because I'm afraid these wonderful juices will all wind up changed in some other ways. Wlad must be out of him gord! lol jkn

Here are my thoughts, take it as you will.

First, I am NOT a big fan of tobacco. I do enjoy it on occasion, CWW being one of my favorites. I just don't think about it much, except is it good, and do I like it.

I just cracked open a bottle of CWW, the only new bottle of tobacco liquid I have on hand.
It tastes different to me compared to the old bottle. Is it because it hasn't steeped a long time? Or maybe now it doesn't NEED to steep? Or is it actually different? Who knows, because Wlad isn't telling.
I am not a tobacco expert, but it tastes flat. And Caramel Wild Wood NEVER tasted flat to me, FOOB or 1 year old, or anywhere in between. I can deal with it, but only because I do not buy Ahlusion for the tobaccos. I buy Ahlusion for teas, and fruit and cream combinations mainly. Quick Nic makes a good NET RY4 (ouR whY qu4tro), that suits me if CWW or Smooth Criminal end up not satisfying me anymore.

Here's the way I connect the dots.

Non-aromatic tobaccos are (were) a blend of NET and synthetic flavoring +
Aromatics (NETs) gone... +
Now non-aromatics are synthetic tobacco only, NET aspect gone, additional flavorings are the same... =
Non-aromatic tobaccos will now be different.

I just got a new bottle of caramel wildwood about three weeks ago, and I can't vape it. it's not the same. and I've vaped 120ml of it in the last 7 months. at first I thought it was because it was 70 vg and the last bottle I got wAs 50/50. but I've gotten it in 70vg before and it was great.
