I hope I've said that below in a way that doesn't offend anyone and is still clear to understand, that's my intent. I'm also speaking for myself alone and my personal issue with long steep times.
I'm trying to stick with vaping and not go back to smoking, it's easier for some than others. At first I thought I'd never go back to analogs but over the last couple weeks I'm faltering a bit. Trying to find juices and vendors that work for me hasn't been easy. I came to this thread and therefore Ahlusion looking for juice that I would love and would keep me vaping and not smoking. As a faltering newbie several months of steeping is daunting. If I were years into this process and had my gear sorted out so it works great for me and my top 10 juices sorted out and my ADV's lined up and a rotation process of juices steeping/ready to go, sure the patience of long steep times wouldn't be an issue. But I'm not there, I'm struggling with all the aspects of vaping to find long term satisfaction. Wading through hundreds of options of gear to figure out whats what and what might work for me, then multitudes of juices that could work from their descriptions but arrive and are nothing like what was expected...it's fustrating as all hell. To keep me from going back to smoking I need to find just a couple options and having a bottle of juice that needs to sit for months before I can use it doesn't help me one iota in this struggle. If I had gone through these "newbie" struggles years ago and found my favorite ADV and then the vendor changed it, I'd be hot, hoping mad too. I can see both sides of this issue and I'm sorry for those of you who lost your fav after the frustrating trial and error it may have taken to find it. Just keep in mind long steep times may not be an immediate gratification issue for everyone. For some, it may be a part of the struggle to not go back to analogs.
I feel your pain about how hard it is to find that perfect place where you know you'll never need cigarettes again...
Lots of money, so much time invested...and just when you think you've got it figured out, it changes again...

A couple years ago I tried to quit smoking with some cigalikes and it did not work at all for me - kept feeling like I had water in my lungs so I quit vaping and went back to smoking. I don't know if was because of the water content or just cheap liquid.
8 weeks ago I found a local B&M that claims no water in their juice (60pg/40vg). With their liquid (and moving up to a good clearomizer) I don't get that feeling of water in the lungs anymore - and have been smoke free ever since! After going through a lot of money finding the right tanks, coils, batteries I think I'm happy there...
But now I'm looking for more great flavors, and came across Ahlusion. They look very interesting...and their flavors seem very much to my liking. I was ready to try Banana Cream Pie...then I noticed the main ingredient was water. Anyone have advice about water content?

Update today 10/21/14 - - -
Got my first Ahlusions order on Friday - Banana Cream Pie, Tiramasu and Café au Lait - and really loved all three...this is quality stuff! However, it's also my first try at 50vg/50pg...and by Monday (yesterday) I started getting a sore throat with that water in the lungs feeling again. (Has anyone else experienced this?)
Thanks to all the great help and advice on this thread, I have another 5 new flavors on order. But now I'm wondering if I have a sensitivity to the higher VG? Or is it the water content? The Ahlusion liquid was great right out of the mailbox...maybe I should have let them steep before trying them?
I've got plenty of other liquids that have been steeping a while, so I'm not panicking yet - but sure feels like I've got a lot more experimenting to do before finding the perfect setup for long term... Sigh...
The good news is I'm still 9 weeks smoke free - and nowhere close to giving up because I've been at it long enough now that just smelling a cigarette is disgusting. I really need to find the perfect vape...I'm ruined for smoking now.
