I'm trying to stick with vaping and not go back to smoking, it's easier for some than others. At first I thought I'd never go back to analogs but over the last couple weeks I'm faltering a bit

You have been given some very good advice from posters in this thread who are very knowledgeable. If you look at my banner I am close to a year now.

GameDesigner gave you some Vendors to try, and I also recommend to anyone that desires to quit, falters, or has urges to try Heathers Heavenly Vapes. In particular Serendipity, Legend, and Dragon's Fire.

I made an easy transition off of the Cigs with Serendipity and Legend. If I have a desire, and they have been very few I pull out some HHV - Legend.

I discovered Ahlusion after Heathers and I do not Steep. I try everything fresh and at present I have just over 10 favorites that I could vape daily.

I urge you to try the Ahlusion - Wild Woods and Just Criminal.

Do not be daunted by the equipment other than to find a reliable and satisfying set up. I am still using Carto tanks, and there are some that would frown on this. But who cares since my banner below goes up every day, and it is very satisfying for me.

It's strange how tobacco means different things to different people. I never smoked a pipe in my life, and only occasionally a cigar. Tobacco always meant cigarettes to me. Boba's, Dragons Fire , and Tribeca are all juices i tried early in my vaping journey, but they didn't really replicate the smoking feel for me. The sweetness was offputting. I enjoy them and Nite Light Vapors "tobacco's" a lot more now.

It wasn't until i tried Mountain Oaks' Southern Gentleman and HHV Dark Horse, that i found a real cigarette alternative. I know they are technically pipe tobacco's, but the fact that they weren't sweet had a psychological effect on me.

That's just me though, i know people who went directly from Winston Reds to fruity and desserty vapes ! and were successful in quitting. They just needed the nicotine and wanted to get as far away from that cigarette taste as possible.

For the record, if someone is looking for a cigarette like tobacco juice these days, as long as they can deal with the gunk factor, i recommend GoodeJuice Wrangler Light or one of many excellent cigarette tobaccos at Net.com. As far as synthetics go, Ahlusion Sahara Blend is a good option. Sweet, but not as much as SC or CWW etc...

I've seen the best results letting friends try those is all. Few if any liked the artibaccos and some NETs such as Dark Horse (which I once loved) are a little more like pipe tobaccos in taste. I never found a liquid that tasted like a cigarette and the sweetness and complexity of those I listed are what I took to.

Ooo that reminds me I have a small bottle of Peppermint Bark I have been holding for cooler weather. I have tasted it and it is very good.

Top 10? That was asked a few weeks ago but I didn't post. Humm...no particular order:

Caramel Wild Wood
Vanilla WW
Lemon Cream
Raspberry Cream
Raspberry White Tea
Banana Cream Pie
Pineapple Upsidedown Cake
Lemon Vanilla Cake
Cafe au Lait
Boba Tea

I haved tried every juice on your list except for the raspberry cream and white tea. I'll likely try the RC in one of my next orders. If it's close to Lemon Cream it should be a winner. That's what I find myself vaping the most lately.

.../snip

As someone new to vaping and new to Ahlusion, I hope my "newbie" perspective may help in understanding the steeping time complaints. I hope I've said that below in a way that doesn't offend anyone and is still clear to understand, that's my intent. I'm also speaking for myself alone and my personal issue with long steep times.

I'm trying to stick with vaping and not go back to smoking, it's easier for some than others. At first I thought I'd never go back to analogs but over the last couple weeks I'm faltering a bit. Trying to find juices and vendors that work for me hasn't been easy. I came to this thread and therefore Ahlusion looking for juice that I would love and would keep me vaping and not smoking. As a faltering newbie several months of steeping is daunting. If I were years into this process and had my gear sorted out so it works great for me and my top 10 juices sorted out and my ADV's lined up and a rotation process of juices steeping/ready to go, sure the patience of long steep times wouldn't be an issue. But I'm not there, I'm struggling with all the aspects of vaping to find long term satisfaction. Wading through hundreds of options of gear to figure out whats what and what might work for me, then multitudes of juices that could work from their descriptions but arrive and are nothing like what was expected...it's fustrating as all hell. To keep me from going back to smoking I need to find just a couple options and having a bottle of juice that needs to sit for months before I can use it doesn't help me one iota in this struggle. If I had gone through these "newbie" struggles years ago and found my favorite ADV and then the vendor changed it, I'd be hot, hoping mad too. I can see both sides of this issue and I'm sorry for those of you who lost your fav after the frustrating trial and error it may have taken to find it. Just keep in mind long steep times may not be an immediate gratification issue for everyone. For some, it may be a part of the struggle to not go back to analogs.

Cam, I know you have an issue with PG. Have you tried Boba's Bounty? It was like my holy grail in the early days, and the flavor was strong enough to shine through even in the Evods with Spinner-type batteries I used in the first couple of months.
Is your gear giving you enough to stay off cigarettes?
If I could go back and do it again knowing what I know now, I think I would have put a whole lot more focus and attention on improving my gear, and much less on juice. Having a great delivery system makes such a huge difference. Vaping even the best juice from a device that doesn't deliver the way you need it to is such a frustrating experience. I didn't even realize at the time that my problem was fighting against my equipment, just to try to pull a decent mouthful of vapor when I needed it! It's just a thought.
Best of luck to you, and don't give up!

Oh, off topic but since we're all fellow A+ fans and this is the only thread I post in why not? Anyone else try Murdoch's Maja Ras. I remember the description turning me off when it was first rolled out but bought some anyway a few weeks ago. Now I love it. Comments that claim it evokes a trip to a head shop aren't far off. Takes me back to one in particular on Newport Ave, Ocean Beach San Diego. Truly sounds unappealing but it's among the most intense and complex blends I've ever tried. And it's the perfect reset switch for vapor tongue. If my A+ flavors become too familiar, I take Maja Ras to work then by the time I get home anything else tastes like the first time again.

One of A+'s recent releases I'm liking lots is Ron Effect (ridiculous name aside).

I forgot I did do a stint with Mountain Oak Vapor that helped me out a lot before I found AHlusion. I did love, and still have Southern Gentleman, Pendragon and Sweet Virginia. I needed those to keep me off cigs at one time.
I am happily vaping frilly tutti fruty things these days and have no desire for the tobacco taste

Top five

Just Criminal
Lemon Cream
Pink Label
Lemon Vanilla Cake
Boba Tea Coffee
and a wonderful concoction that Wlad sent me that I have to keep quiet about

changes weekly but those are always in my top 15

Mia I agree completely.. gear matters! I've recently convinced a good friend to try stepping up from egos and original protanks.. he barely smoked today!

I've been using an evic, mvp2, and the original protanks for so long now. I'd appreciate some hardware recs for an ugrade. I have a kayfun but decided I don't care for RBAs. I'm fine with factory coils. Thoughts on the aerotank mega? Was thinking of pairing that with the vaporshark rdna 40.

I am also seriously considering the Vaporshark rDNA. As far as factory coils go, i hear the Aspire BVC's are the best in the business these days.

Hottest Tank out there after my review is the Aspire Nautilus with the BVC Coils. Evape.us is the place to go for authentic Aspire with good prices.

I finally pulled the trigger on one since there are favorite Ahlusion juices that are tough on Cartos. I desire to experiment to see if these new Aspire BVC Coils last longer with the same satisfaction.

I don't even like the thought of trying to pick 5, or 10 and stick to that. Whatever I choose to vape today is my favorite, and I usually vape two or three juices a day, and I usually don't repeat the same ones two days in a row. I'm very happy not having an ADV, and I don't want one! Variety keeps me interested.

I'm curious to know what you and other posters in this thread consider to be their Top 5-10 Ahlusion flavors.

We did post some lists earlier but I am scrambling through the Stash to firmly establish mine.

I will post when completed and I desire to complete soon. Have decided by the first week of November that I will commemorate my 1 Year anniversary by vaping Heathers juice solely for a month or two.

This is the juice that got me off of them so I thought this would be fitting.

Fine, I'll try to make this easier for you. ;) Imagine Wlad picks you randomly for a prize which consists of lifetime refills of only 6 flavors of your choice. What do you pick?

Heh, that doesn't make it easier! Oh, alright fine...

But there is no 1-6 order here!

Sweet Surrender
Lemon Vanilla Cake
Caramel Pear Black Tea
Fijian Nights
Tarte Tatin Apple
Orange Blossom White Tea

Sort of like trying to pick your favorite kid(s).
