I have a list of 16 different kinds I want to try. Black peach tea sounds so strange but so interesting too. Anyone try it? The contrary cherry sounds good too, but dang its so hard to tell through an online description. Canyon sun seems to be one that a lot of people on here like too huh? When I was in their shop the other day I didn't try these, but I was kind of in a hurry and frazzled at the moment.

You know that niggling feeling that you get sometimes?

I'm getting a niggling feeling about all these sales. Like, maybe it's so we all stock up before they end online retail?

Have you noticed that the thing about why my juice tastes different than my friend's juice isn't on the website any longer?

And the house blends are gone now.

Yeah...niggling feeling, spidey sense, women's intuition. It worries me that there was no warning about the house blends going away - will one day the site just no longer be available for us to buy from with no warning? Do I need to be stocking up? Just things I'm asking myself.

I have a niggling worry, too, Robin . . .

I hope I'm just being paranoid!

I'm nervous too. Especially sales running right before what would be holiday sales. I really hope I don't regret trying to control my juice spending right now.

Ditto here.

Oh well, I couldn't resist the 25% plus my feedback coupon. Just got 10ml of Start Dust and 30ml each of two old favorites, Melonade and CPBT! Also asked for a sample of Zing! with the Sweet Lemon option.

And yes, I too feel guilty about the amount of Juice I'm getting for the price!

Vaping the lime cream i ordered as a sample, and gotta say, this ain't half bad ! didn't have high expectations for this one, since i haven't really liked any fruit/cream i have tried from any vendor, but this is the best of the bunch by a long shot ! i didn't really rate the raspberry and the cocoberry , but this lime is different class altogether !

El, i wouldn't feel too guilty. I have a feeling that prices will be dropping a bit. The last time i sampled a bunch of different companies was a year and a bit ago, and there was a lot of crap juice in the market. Have been sampling juices again since March, and i gotta say, the newer vendors have a lot better juices. The competition has been joined.

Not making any comparison to Ahl, mind you, lest you guys jump on me :) But i have a feeling that Ahl has competition they didn't necessarily have a couple of years ago, and with the mark-up being so astronomical in this industry, prices have nowhere to go but down !

Enjoy !!

I hear you, but also note that gobs of the newest quality entrants into the eliquid market are also already stunningly overpriced, especially as compared to Ahlusion.

(Don't you dare try to cheer me up!)

Funny you say this as it is exactly my thoughts. They still have not replied to my email and that is not how Ahlusion has operated in the past. I have read that Ahlusion is primarily a wholesaler, it would not surprise me one bit if online sales stopped.

I'm with you on that, El. I can't believe I just ordered 120 (+10) ml of Ahlusion for less than I would have formerly paid for junk juice.

I refuse to worry about the sales meaning something dire, though. I choose to believe that the sales are because Wlad and Alley love us!:wub::wub:

(I'm also not hiding my head in the sand--I belong to CASAA and sign petitions and send emails).

As far as the comments about our e-liquid profiles going away, well, that may happen. And I will be perfectly happy with the XPress versions, as long as I get my Ahlusion. It hasn't happened yet, though. I got a reply to a May feedback email that they would add a change to my profile for the next time I ordered a juice.

So, I don't think it's time to panic yet.

ambientech, maybe you should call them? You're right, that's not how they generally operate, the not answering emails, but I'll bet someone could answer your question about the house blends if you called and asked...

I have accepted that the house blends are gone but the not answering my email is strange. I am not one to keep bugging anyone and feel like calling them is bugging so I won't do it. I placed an order yesterday for some teas and VWW and left a comment in the notes so that's that.

True, but i'm not even talking about them. A lot of the vendors you talk about who charge $ 20 and up for a 30 ml bottle, also(primarily ? ) sell through brick and mortars. If the juice is being sold for 22 let's say at the b & m, the vendor is only getting 11 of that, and the b& m's won't let the vendor sell the juice cheaper online. Different business model.

I won't even try a juice if it's priced higher than fifty cents per ml. I am comparing juices that went for 30 to 50 cents per ml, a year ago and now. There has been a major upgrade in quality imo. Ahlusion is different still, insofar as they have quality juices across the board, whereas a lot of other online vendors are known for their NET's or desserts or coffees etc ... But still, Ahlusion is having more sales to increase their volume imo and increased competition might be the reason, rather than the proposed regulations methinks :)

edit : i am new to Ahlusion, and don't have that personal connection to the juice and the owners some of you may have, and i don't mean to be cynical, if my post comes across as such. I am enjoying the sales sans the guilt, and would be even happier if the prices were even lower :) Just stating my opinion, as i see the facts.

I have tried 10 different Ahlusion flavors so far, with six new ones on the way. Out of the ten, i thought four were outstanding, two were good, two were meh, and two were bad ( thankfully they were samples ! ). That's a very good hit ratio in my experience, and ranks them in the upper echelon of vendors in my book. All i'm saying is there is competition out there and one way of holding on to their market share is to lower prices, which in effect they are doing with the ever more frequent sales. Makes good sense too, in my opinion. I just made a purchase of 180 ml for $ 66 shipped, and i probably wouldn't have made the purchase for $ 100 given the stockpile of decent to excellent juice i already have.

I'd be curious to see if anyone who started ordering from Ahlusion in 2014 like I did has gotten a response to their feedback emails mentioning flavor changes. I haven't and I may have found out why when I referred a friend a few days ago.

I agree with this and we are somewhat similar on your quoted 10.

My experience of 50 % of the Samples that became re-orders in the Glass Bottle size was impressive.

Of the 50 % that were not re-orders there are some that I desire to try again. However, I prefer the term for the ones that were not re-orders as not for me versus bad.

Is this what you mean?

What I would suggest you do is refer someone to Ahlusion and have them attempt to setup a profile. Then we can compare notes as to exactly when profile service stopped being offered to new customers. The date she was given was very interesting.

I'm curious what happened, if you don't mind telling about it. I first registered with Ahlusion about a year ago (maybe a little less), and I don't recall "setting up a profile" so to speak. I kind of figured they set up my profile by my feedback emails, the first of which I told them what equipment I was using and such. I don't think I got a response back to my feedback emails until the third or fourth one, and the one in May was the first time they said anything about profiling my juices. But then again, I'd never specifically asked for profiling...

I've struggled with how to word this given that posting emails is against forum policy along with not wanting to cause a ruckus. She was told that profile service for new customers stopped being offered in late 2013. Along with a confirmation on the moving away from custom juices outside the available website options due to future regulation.
