If the big tobacco companies are looking to buy out a few of the big popular ejuice companies they will be looking at who is doing a great business. Not doubt AHL is a much better coup for them than say XYZ company. In order to be attractive they really need their sales at top peak and no better way to do it than just like what they are doing.

I hear you Chanel, i also have stated a couple of times that Ahlusions current way of doing business could not survive in the future regulatory regime. Any vendor hoping to compete must pare down the number of selections and amount of customization. Made to order juices will be a thing of the past. Batch made juices in huge volume will be the only way to survive. Think express line on steroids.

I don't think any vendor with their current customer base could survive. Maybe nJoy, DeKang, Hangsen, MBV and a couple of others at best. Big Tobacco will also jump in once they realize there is no future in cigalikes, as nJoy seemingly has done already and hedged its bets.

As much as i would love the smaller, more boutique like vendors to survive, i must be realistic and admit the odds are stacked against them.

But i still don't get the connection to the increase in random sales, that Ahl always has had. To me all that means is that they want/need some increased immediate cash flow, at he expense of future cash flow.

oh thanks Cold!, dammnet, cant do a nick' of your name i tried. nuffin...

yay, glad i ordered the fijian one now. I love the blueberry vanilla cake, just wished i'd let it steep properly, because its really subtle the whole flavor. but of all my crappily steeped, (my fault) juices. i love the blueberry vanilla cake best...if that makes any sense

You need to be logged in to see them. ;) I have some bananas foster aging as we speak. I'm really looking forward to trying it.

Exactly. A 3D software company I know does the same thing, it keeps people coming back. It works. :)

I got some Fijian Nights a few weeks ago, as soon as I tried it I went and ordered a 60ml bottle! It's the only 60ml bottle I've bought from Ahlusion. It tastes just like a fresh tropical fruit salad. It's my favorite Ahlusion flavor by far, and that's saying something!

I haven't tried the Blueberry Vanilla Cake, but I love the Strawberry.

I think the Raspberry Cream is the only cream I haven't tried. Coco-Berry Cream is my favorite, it has (cue trumpet fanfare, angels singing) TOASTED COCONUT! (end trumpet fanfare, fade angels singing). Nobody does coconut like Wlad!

What i think may happen, is not necessarily what i wish to happen. If Ahlusion is setting themselves up to be purchased by big tobacco, clearly their strategy would be different than if they are planning to make a go of it as a stand alone company. That goes without saying. Anyway my point is if Ahlusion were to expand their customer base from 1000, say to 75,000 i don't think they can customize to the extent they do. You might disagree. It's all good :)

Everytime i speak honestly about my feelings re Ahlusion flavors and/or their business strategy, i seem to ruffle some feathers here :) And i don't mean you Chanel ! just a feeling i get.

I really don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but i don't think of Ahlusion as infallible. It's getting a little difficult for me to post anything but unadulterated praise for all things Ahlusion and i feel i have to make a choice between hurting someones feelings and censoring myself.

It's a shame to, since i think Ahlusion is a top notch vendor with some excellent juices, a majority of which i liked and a few which i will continue to order, and it would've been nice if i could ask for feedback as well as give feedback, and exchange opinions about the company generally.

Phew. Just did my stacking!
I got 30 mls of Tiramisu and Strawberry Snap, and 10mls of Blueberry Colada and Bananas Foster, which is really branching out for me. I have never found a sweet juice I liked, other than coffeeish chocolate - but I'm figuring that Ahlusion would be the place that could do it.

oh bucket list, am i glad you answered too. i was going to go all 10vg/90pg, is that too high? i'm using the vivi nova tanks, original ones 1st or 2nd version. and i wouldnt doubt if i subtle'd my flavors by doing the hot water. i did it like 8 times per juice. not sweetened eh?

thanks!

Meems

I have some 10/90 since VG bothers me. It has good flavor but it doesn't make as much vapor and feels thin. VG makes more vapor and gives it a fullness that is more satisfying. 30/70 gives the best flavor and vapor when using a carto, EVOD, or any bottom coil tank. I've tried 50/50 in all of them and it loses a lot of the flavors.

I didn't know it was you who started the banana fosters craze. A heartfelt thank you. It was the last of the ten Ahl flavors i tried a full tank of, and it is my second favorite ! really really nice !!

Mocha just happens to be my favorite best coffee i have tried so far, and the first Ahl i re-ordered.

I disagree with you on the fruits however. Well, somewhat at least. I also don't like the commercial fruit flavors and have probably mentioned a number of times that out of dozens i have tried, i have reordered only one fruit flavor. Ahlusion reminds me of HHV in their handling of fruits. They manage to capture the essence of the fruit very well, and do a great job capturing the tartness. Not the sweetness though imo, at least in the ones i tried. I have actually tried four of them. Cocoberry Cream, Raspberry Cream, Lime Cream and Jump'n'Jive. The one i thought the best was Lime Cream, probably because there is so little sweetness in a real lime to begin with. Raspberry Cream thought was ok and it captured the tartness of raspberry well, but raspberries have fructose in them too ! Junp'n'jive i just couldn't vape. To me it was a fruit punch with literally all the fructose sucked out and replaced with lime !

It was Mozzer that started the Bananas Foster craze! I never even thought of trying it until he wrote about it. I can't wait for my large bottle to arrive.

It sounds like the cream flavors aren't what you are looking for in a fruit flavor or you may have really liked them with sweetener. The cream flavors do need a couple of weeks to steep. That's when the cream comes out. It mellows and sweetens the fruit or citrus flavor. Some of Ahlusion's best fruits are in their mixes. Jump n Jive is a citrus so it's naturally going to be a bit tart. I love Ahlusion's lime. One of my favorites is Strawberry Snap.

How long have you had these flavors? Have you tasted them again after letting them steep? Even my super sweet Raspberry Cream was really good after steeping for 3 months. Most should be great at 4 weeks. It really is surprising how the flavors change with time.

You should take a look at Fijian Nights, Red, White, and Blueberry, Sweet Surrender, Mango Lassi, Pink Label, and Luna Fortuna. I'm wondering if your hot water hurt some of the flavors? I love sweet flavors and I have to let Raspberry Cream steep for about 4 weeks because it is too sweet for me. I don't get any tartness from it at all. I tried it with sweetener first and it was over the top. Tasted like a raspberry lollipop. You might like it sweetened!

I get CocoBerry Cream sweetened. It brings out the fruit flavors. Pineapple Cream with sweetener is delicious. It's my favorite flavor. I just broke open a new bottle and filled a tank. I keep it from steeping since I love it fresh. I do the same with Lemon Cream but I get it without sweetener.

Looking forward to your reaction on the Lemon Lime Breeze. After getting my mid sized Bottles I am still not sure if my request of Less Than Breeze was fulfilled since there are no markings on the Bottle.

You have been Vaping a lot of Lemon Cream? After 4 Weeks of non stop I got up this A.M. and said to myself I am sick of the Lemon Cream, and prepared a Carto Tank for Maple Wild Wood. Vaped the MWW all morning and guess what I am Vaping now?

Still have 15 ML's of Lemon Cream to polish off :).

I've been vaping so much Lemon Cream that I've had to start ordering 2 60s at a time. Lol. It just might overtake Pineapple Cream for top spot! I finally found my tank for Pineapple Cream and got it filled but I keep going back to the lemon. It's just an amazing flavor. Even though it is unsweetened it has a natural sweetness to it that is sweeter than the Pineapple Cream with sweetener added.

Well alriiiighty then, heres what i ordered. and i'm not a big fan of just fruit juices but since you all loved the fijian nites so much in here i had to get it. took both Bukkies and PennyLane'ms advice and i hope i done did good. this is what me gots! heh!

Perfect! Fijian Nights is so good. It's one of the best creations Ahlusion has made. It's not just a fruit juice. You'll know what I mean when you try it. I can't wait to hear what you think of all of them. :)

Mazinny, I think your thoughts are interesting. Nobody knows, bottom line. It's only natural to wonder and even speculate. I don't want to lose my favorite vendor, and these are worrying times, that's all. We all care about the future of Ahlusion or we wouldn't be here on the thread, and that includes you, too.
I've been reading back a few pages and I don't see anyone giving you a miffed reply to your posts. I do notice that you might be getting a kind of "cold shoulder" in that you aren't getting a lot of feedback, is that the feeling you get? It may be ruffled feathers, or that some of the people here may be uncomfortable with that line of discussion and choose not to respond. You don't seem to be attacking Ahlusion at all, just speculating on some possibilities that may or may not come to pass in the future. But for now, that goes in a big circle because we just don't know anything for sure about that yet. So we prefer to talk about the juice, we know about that at least. And it's not all unadulterated praise, by a long shot.
What a boring place this would be if we all just agreed about everything, and had the same personalities like a bunch of cardboard cut-outs! It takes more than one ingredient to make a great recipe, right? We all should be able to speak our minds rationally, intelligently and politely. And you do.
That's my opinion. Hopefully I won't get frozen now! (Just kidding.) Peace.

There is a blank spot on this page where an email was posted. The retail front end will not last forever, of this we are already certain.

The only question now is Wlad's timetable. As we found out with flavor profiles he is further ahead than we thought he was. So there are some good reasons for people to be nervous. I hope it all winds up being nothing, still have a lot of the menu to try, and I already have a pile of favorites.

I can assure you that a lot of folks in this thread want to hear the pluses and minuses on any given issue related to AHL. Including yours truly so please don't censor yourself. I tend to get very effusive on the mechanics of mixing by The King because I also DIY and I understand first hand how much talent it takes to create truly outstanding mixes since a great many of my own creations are only suitable for cleaning your tires or your windows /lol On the other hand, if you went back to 10/13 when I first arrived "in the cult" I was VERY critical of closing a friggin web site for two weeks for changes and I didn't mince words. As time marches on, I've managed to wrap my grey matter around exactly how AHL does business and what The King is trying to accomplish.

After all, if the goal of this thread is to help folks obtain the best results and experiences from AHL, then that normally involves some help and or discussions about the pluses and minuses, like any other business on planet earth or mars. Admittedly, a delicate balance at times when you are trying to keep the "Fan Boy" factor at an absolute minimum along with avoiding specious and or ill founded "connecting the dots" theories which don't hold up to rational scrutiny.

:)

Well stated Mia11 and I would like to add;

I review the FDA Regulations and the Legislation News threads every day, and the Hypocrisy is Mind Numbing I can assure you.

I come here to relax, have a laugh, and to be Enabled with new Ahlusion Flavors to try. If I want doom and gloom I go to the above threads to get my fill (This is not a Negative comment regarding Mazinny's posts).

I firmly believe this is what it is all about, and I live in California so it does not surprise me;

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=13507248

I also believe and I could be very wrong here; When your 30 ML Bottle, regardless who makes it, costs the same as a Carton of Analogs then everything will be fine.

Yup!
No hurt feelings here. I want to hear all opinions, so long as they're reasoned and reasonable. Certainly nothing Mazinny said has rubbed me the wrong way. BnJ made a comment a few days back that was spot on for me. Ahl is my current favorite liquid vendor, but I don't know anyone there personally, and I don't need to. Emotions don't play into it at all. We're all snowflakes here (by which I mean all different). To each his/her own. If Ahlusion changes in a big way for the worse, oh well. I will cross that bridge then. In the meantime I will continue to enjoy the liquids I enjoy, and I will continue to lurk on here, absorbing all opinions with a grain of salt. Keep 'em coming!

DJLEC, yep we all have that in mind and to everyone else, try to keep your glasses half full and let's ode to the joy of Ahlusion hopefully for a very long time. That being said,....I"M FREAKIN OUT OF RICK'S REQUEST! I must say last rights over this empty 60ml bottle so I shall return.

I received an order from Ahlusion about 2 weeks ago and I have been steeping them for those 2 weeks. I tried them again yesterday and they still don't taste anything like what they are supposed to. I am still getting a perfume taste and smell from the Winter Wild Wood and no menthol taste at all. The Orange Nocturne is the same (perfume tasting and no chocolate but a tad bit of orange) and the Mocha does not even come close to what Mocha should taste like. How much longer should I let these sit before I finally give up and just trade them away?
