No sample pack available. But, for every $20 ordered, you get a free 10ml sample of whatever flavor you wish (though there are flavors that are not available as a sample). This will be noted in the description

Weird because I spent $27 for three flavors and did not get any sample!

I received an order from Ahlusion about 2 weeks ago and I have been steeping them for those 2 weeks. I tried them again yesterday and they still don't taste anything like what they are supposed to. I am still getting a perfume taste and smell from the Winter Wild Wood and no menthol taste at all. The Orange Nocturne is the same (perfume tasting and no chocolate but a tad bit of orange) and the Mocha does not even come close to what Mocha should taste like. How much longer should I let these sit before I finally give up and just trade them away?

High VG maybe? Those will take a stoopid long time to steep. If not, maybe you got a bad mix. You can try contacting them and see what they say.

Could also be the set-up..I'll post my bad lighting Youtube fake music fast paced Flavor Coil build. A Twisted 28:

You have to request the sample in the comments when you check out, the flavor you want, the VG/PG Ratio and nic level. They make the samples up fresh as well.

[h=2]Sample Policy:[/h]We make samples upon request, only with qualifying orders of $20 and up (and pending availability and order load). Samples are not available from our Premium tobacco line (aromatics), XPress line or items not currently available. Just like any other e-liquid of any size, we mix our samples at the time of order. This means that we do not have random samples to include with orders, so please be specific when requesting a sample. It's ok, go ahead and ask, but please be specific. It helps going through hundreds of orders a day and not having to guess what you may or may not like - it's not going to happen. Please include your sample request in the order comments box below. Again, please be specific; we do not have samples laying around and we only include a sample IF a specific sample was requested at the time of the order was placed.

Communication! If it's been that long since you got your juice, you should've received a feedback request. Use it to tell them how you feel about your order.
Sample must be requested...they make them to order only (I have been told). Request it in the box near the bottom of the page (I usually include a bit of feedback with it).

I've been vaping Fijian Nights the last few days and have noticed its flavors really come together after a two week steep. At first I thought the coconut component was a bit strong and the fruit element a bit faint. Fast-forward a week, and the coconut has mellowed a bit giving way to some very nice fruity (pineapple, etc.) flavors that compliment each other quite well. I'm actually surprised that I'm enjoying it right now, since it didn't impress me much the first go around. Now I think this is a juice most people here should like.

Voltron -- You just described how Shipwreck is for me. Coconut very strong until after two weeks. It takes on a totally different personality after that. Robin aka rabernet told me this about AHL long ago when I was vaping it all up FOOB. I learned to listen to her wisdom! Robin :wub:

Welcome FV. If you could please answer a few questions you will get better advice:

- How long have you been vaping?
- What MOD due you use?
- What delivery device do you use? Examples, T2, PT2, RDA, or RBA

Thanks :)

I personally find the coconut component in Shipwreck to be too strong and fragrant for my tastes. I recently sampled it again fully steeped, and it's still not for me. :(

I prefer the more subtle and balanced coconut in Fijian Nights, and how it blends with its fruits.

Yes, more information is needed regarding your juices. So many times posters have come in here, stating their juices may be "bad," only for us to discover later (choose all that apply):

they ordered juice in high VG (which takes a bit longer for flavors to come together) AND/OR are also not using a dripper;

using a super sub ohm build (Ahlusion juices generally do not do well in those builds);

There's nothing wrong with using clearomizers, prebuilt tanks, cartomizers, etc., but do know that 30vg/70pg is the recommended ratio to order Ahlusion juices mixed to experience them pleasantly in those delivery systems. I've gotten away with 50vg/50pg in cartomizers, but that's as high VG I would risk.

As for Winter Wild Wood -- if you've never tried any of the Wild Wood tobaccos prior to this, it will definitely come across as a strange beast. It is unlike any menthol tobacco I've vaped previously and this is coming from a previous menthol smoker and one whose first order with other vendors always included a menthol tobacco. The menthol is delicately applied in Winter Wild Wood, coupled with that light bodied, smoky, woody, tobacco. Cool River Tree Blend was a more traditional menthol tobacco to me.

Orange Nocturne, I do not know much about except that people have reported it to have a boozy note to it that is supposed to lessen after a long steep. Others have found it accurate.

Yeah, I could understand this sentiment re Shipwreck. Still, I don't know why I dig it so much, ha.

Fijian Nights really came off as a creamy vanilla based drink when I first tried it. Everything was so subtle, yet came together with a synergy a la "2+2 = 5". The second vape session with it, the coconut was more present. Not Shipwreck level, but it had definitely asserted itself, along with the pineapple.

Probably because it's kinda girly. ;) Like seriously, I bet every woman in this thread likes it. :D

In my case, I got almost coconut exclusively when I vaped it fresh. The second go around was much better because of the development of the pineapple. I did get it 30/70 VG/PG, so it could be making a difference. I presume you get yours at 50/50.

I know of one woman (SharonMM) who is not a fan of it. She's a toughie, though, lol.

And you presume correct. :) I order almost all A+ at the recommended ratio.

I'll have to go look at when I ordered mine, but I finally broke into it last night (Shipwreck) and I'm loving it and not tasting much coconut.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note II using Tapatalk.

Yep -- It's a different animal after three weeks.

I beg to differ Jack Boots -- 70 PG does very well sub-ohm. :D

Yep -- It's a different animal after three weeks.

Ordered on May 2nd. Almost 2 months old!

Oh - and Fijian Nights is really, really good!

I've got a 60 ml of Smooth Criminal I bought in December I haven't touched yet. I wanted it to REALLY steep like some folks recommended. Need to hit that up next!

Imagine that Robin -- I also have a 60ml bottle I have only broke down and took 10ml out of. Mine is three weeks old. Idk how long I shall wait to drip it. Maybe the Dibbi will be the first test of it in September sometime.
