Hmmmm...to buy or not to buy? Not even sure what I would get at this point. Really longing for something different. Too many tuity fruity cream things, felt this way before and ordered too many coffee, tea things. Probably need to just enjoy the multitudes of what I have since I have been buying AHL weekly for 8-10 weeks now.

Looks like a 10% off sale today. Not sure if they plan something bigger for tomorrow.

There's a new article in the News section on the Ahlusion site "The Cost of FDA Regulation".

Great catch young lady and thanks! :) Outstanding article and a must read.

A few quick thoughts which represent my own views, FDA statements, and the general consensus of the ECF policy wonks. I have respectfully tried to "simplify" these thoughts so as not to burden this thread with the numerous nuances found within hundreds of pages of regs. Naturally, I encourage you to perform your own research and draw your own conclusions. :)

The SE (substantial equivalence) date is February 15, 2007. The FDA can not and will not change this date. In large measure this is related to "folding" the ecig market/products into the "Deeming Tobacco Products To Be Subject to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as Amended by the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act; Regulations on the Sale and Distribution of Tobacco Products and Required Warning Statements for Tobacco Products" /wew

The final regulatory step is Congressional approval and Congress CAN change the SE grandfather date of February 15, 2007 and other provisions of the Regs. The good news is that Senator Burr is on our side as evidenced by the recently completed Senate Committee hearings available at FDA Regulation ECigarettes | Video | C-SPAN.org

Returning to our focus: I love Perpetual Check from 5P and Vooodooo from Halo. Then I noticed that the mother ship has Banana Breeze which appears to be in the same after dinner libation family. Any thoughts would be appreciated on the flavor profile before I pull the plug and does the mother ship have any other "after dinner/liqueurs" that I should try?

:)

Thank you MayLovesMetal and EleanorR for the feedback on GAT... much appreciated.

My father graduated from Virginia Military Institute in 1939, which was the last year that Cavalry training actually trained soldiers on horseback! :) He spent the entire War in the European Theatre (3rd Army), including the Battle of the Bulge. Like every other war veteran I've ever known, he spoke very, very little of the actual war experience. :(

May God rest his soul, and the souls of all our war dead.

It's amazing to hear from so many children and relatives of WWII vets in here. My father was US Army in Europe, one uncle flew 30 missions on a B-24 heavy bomber, another was a tanker with 3rd Army, another flew fighters in the Pacific. The latter ended up dying from rocky mountain spotted fever due to a tick bite on a hunting trip when I was still a very young boy.

All that family military history had a colossal affect on me growing up. So much so, that by the time I was 24 years old, I found myself a member of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment (Ft. Bragg) and within a couple years I was low crawling my way through US Army Sniper School among other fun things. Even so, I would never presume to place my service time in the same league as my father and my uncles. They were always giant-like, almost mythical men in my mind. Even more so since now the last of them has passed away.

Eleanor, I have a cousin who graduated from VMI back about the time I was with the 82nd ABN but he was smarter than me and became a JAG attorney. :D

cheers

Ahlusion's web site is set up so that links there from other sites don't show up. An odd choice, but maybe not if you know that Wlad doesn't want the attention he deserves.

So you have to paste that link into your browser's address bar manually and hit enter.

oh ! the AHL website ! i'm looking in ECF

Anyone have opinions on Ahlusion's Mocha? I love a good mocha at Starbucks...how does this compare?

My second favorite Ahlusion Juice out of seven i have tried. It needs a good steeping imo for the coffee and cocoa to really blend. I would imagine you need to order with sweetener to get closer to the Starbucks mocha ! The starbucks mocha is too sweet for my taste, but the Ahlusion mocha is just brilliant. Just a reall nice blend of coffee and cocoa, slghtly sweet, and no popcorny aftertaste i detect with a lot of coffee vapes, including the Ahlusion Kona Kick ( sorry, all Ahlusion fanatics :) )

Can't describe it any better unfortunately, just a delicious, smooth vape with a perfect throat hit and vapor production for a 12 mg 50/50

Ahlusion is listed in the natural tobacco thread but when I asked about their vanilla wildwood they said it was not. How about Maple Dream? How do you tell from their storefront which are macerated nets?

It is a NET, but not macerated. Their aromatic tobaccos are made using CO2 extraction. The non-aromatics are made either with CO2 or steam distillation. None of their tobaccos are soaks (i.e., shredding -- macerating -- the tobacco and soaking it in PG, then filtering). All of Ahlsuion's tobacco flavors are NET-based.

Maple Dream isn't a tobacco.

CASAA has issued a second Call to Action regarding the proposed deeming regulations. There is a May 27 deadline to make comments about how the proposed regs impact the Paperwork Reduction Act (and vice versa). Although this is geared toward impacted businesses, there is no reason individual consumers cannot make comments too.

CASAA: Second Call to Action for FDA Proposed Regulations - Consumer Comment on Paperwork Reduction Act

Much of the information in the article on the Ahlusion site is related to this issue. I suggest both having a look at the Ahlusion article, and checking out the CASAA page.
