I am with you on the Blueberry Vanilla Cake. After my recent multi flavor Garage Work/Vapeathon I tried the BVC at the end, and it also did not taste good to me with the Cake base.
Once I shifted gears to my Vanilla Wild Wood everything was right in my vape world so I gave the BVC up.

one more thumbs down for blueberry vanilla cake. this was one of the last three juices i tried/will try from ahl. i ordered it mainly because blueberry muffin from hhv was one of two non-tobacco flavors i liked from them and i wanted to taste ahl's take on a similar flavor. i didn't dislike the cake base per se, but i thought it over powered the blueberry and the vanilla to the extent i tasted it. vapeable, but nothing i look forward to vaping.
the other two were winners though.
caramel pear black tea was exactly what it should be. all three flavors were evident. nothing like any other juice i have tried. not an immediate re-order since i tend to vape non tobacco's sparingly, but a thoroughly enjoyable after dinner vape.
sahara blend was a really good turkish blend, one of the best i have had. won't go into too much detail since Mr. Mann described it perfectly a few pages back and i agree with everything he said about it except the part about it being spicy. to me it had a hint of spice, but that's it just a hint. it might have been different on his set-up though.
on a different note, but somewhat related to customer appreciation/consideration /service discussed earlier ;
i just received three bottles of gentleman's reserve from the steam company, after i wrote them an email letting them know that my latest order from a batch made on 5/1 was a little off to me. it wasn't bad really, just a little lighter on flavor and vapor from the earlier ones i had purchased which had a different d.o.b. within three days i had three bottles from a batch made on 6/1, with a letter apologizing for my experience.
now, i'm not writing this, claiming they are a better vendor than ahl. they are not. but the different approach in customer service and appreciation was not lost on me.
it created a lot of goodwill, a lot more than the cost of the three replacement bottles they sent me.
