lactic acid builds up in those with COPD too. Something to do with not getting enough oxygen (so my doc tells me)
Not to mention one of the side effects of 90% of the COPD medications out there is....muscle cramps!

Interesting article, thanks!

Was just lurking and it is very irritating! I used to be able to ask vendors for whatever ratio and they would for the most part be glad to take my money. But its rather a sport now and high VG is required to look like a douche bag. :D

Look who's here! Nice to see you, Zelphie.

Lol! I hope you dumped it out. I didn't care for Alton, Fort Custard, Yin Yang, Rasputin, Crescent Moon, or Memory Lane. I did find Fort Custard to be vapable and am giving it a long steep. The rest I wouldn't taste again no matter what.

I've added it to my growing pile of tanks that I'll need put in boiling water and put new coils in this weekend. The only one of your "No" list above I haven't tried is Crescent Moon. I'm not a banana fan (in vapes), so I may never try that one. I agree with mostly everything else on it. Memory Lane is another one that I just got, and a tank that has joined the boil pile. I think it tastes like plastic. I'll give it another chance after a steep, though. I didn't hate Rasputin, but it doesn't ring my bells, either. I'm going to give it a chance with steeping, though. Yin Yang, on the other hand, I love. It seems to be the orange cream I've always wanted. I plan on getting a BIG bottle next custom sale.

I tried Crescent Moon. Got a bottle, took it boating. Inhaled ONCE. Repulsive. Most disgustingly vile flavor I've ever vaped. Hands down. Your experience may of course be different :)
You know what I AM loving these days? Ice Kiss. Express line. It's checking all the buttons for me and I don't see it getting much love?

I'm down to the last of my Sapphire so I've been mixing it with Billow Berry. 2/3 Billow Berry and 1/3 Sapphire. It's even better this way! :)

And I found an almost empty tube of white toothpaste and polished my Cherry Vape drip tips! Until the new ones arrive.
You know what else is good together? Some Saturday Morning & Billow Berry mixed. Plus for us who enjoy that "cool" in their vape, a splash of Sweet Chill sends it over the top! :D

@Bukket, thanks & yea, I know you can't do the high VG either. :( I actually think vaping all that 100% VG at first aggravated my condition & caused it to be worse. What's even harder for me is anything over 50% PG & I get terrible leg cramps. Guess I convert the PG to lactic acid easily, which of course causes muscle cramps.

@Sirius, LOL....I can actually blow pretty good clouds with my 50/50 mix. ;) It saddens me to see the whole "vape scene" changing so much. It's almost like it's not even focused on getting people off cigs anymore, but more about who can blow the biggest cloud or who has the coolest mods. :(

I'm sure the high VG did at to it. I vaped 50/50 for a few months and ended up with a horrible congested cough that lasted forever. It ended up taking a year to stop completely.

I get leg cramps, too! But I'm on so many meds now that I don't notice them. I guess I'll find out more if I'm ever able to start lowering my drug dosages. Was all set for my surgery when it turns out that the discs they need to attach the paddle that holds the stimulator cable are too disintegrated. Now I have to get 2 discs removed before they can do the main surgery.

I can make great clouds with a KangerTank or ProTank now that they have the cotton coils. That's with 30VG! I'd be in a steam room if I used 100% VG. The GS Air puts out almost too much vapor for me but it's such an awesome tank.

Blame that sub-ohming madness. Don't get mad--send them a note. That's what I do. I wrote to Kanger, for instance, complaining bitterly that their new Subtank is only suitable for sub-ohm vaping and that many of us are MTL people. They actually responded and told me that they will forward my email to their engineers. And guess what--a few months later they tweaked the Subtank. I realize that it wasn't just my email, but other vapers must have complained also. They listen. They want to sell stuff.

If you find a juice you'd like to try but it's all or high VG only--send them an email.

I would love to have the Kanger Subox Nano set in pink and purple but the tanks kill it for me. Kanger makes so many good tanks and I'm mad that they finally come out with the prettiest setup but I hate the tank!

Not to mention one of the side effects of 90% of the COPD medications out there is....muscle cramps!

Oh no, that really sucks. Have you tried taking Potassium? I take Clonopin along with my pain meds. I also have Restless Leg Syndrome so I really hope PG isn't contributing to my leg cramps.

Memory Lane never improved for me. I even tried it with sweetener to see if it was better. Lol.

Rasputin isn't horrible like the rest. I just don't like crust so that ruins it for me. I've found that I'm not a fan of banana or raspberry if they are the only fruit. I know they're both in some of the mixes I love but I don't like them as the main flavor. Yin Yang is another that quite a few like. I love Orange Creamsicle myself.

@Bukkett, I do take Magnesium and my blood pressure meds contain enough potassium. Our bodies convert PG to lactic acid, which is what causes leg cramps, but it does not always affect everyone the same and if your body is ridding itself of the lactic acid quickly enough, then there's not much harm. At least us vapors usually drink lots of water, which helps flush out the lactic acid.

I'm so sorry about your surgeries and all the issues you're having to deal with my friend. :( Stay strong & I'll be praying that things go the very best possible, and as quickly as possible, for you!!

I just sampled The Godfather after 2 months of steeping. It's not that great and certainly doesn't seem like the old Smooth Criminal. This Godfather stuff is supposed to be the same recipe as as the old Smooth Criminal, but it has a cola like taste, while I remember the old Smooth Criminal having a sweet tobacco, cinnamonny taste.

It's not completely unpleasant but I wouldn't call it good, it certainly isn't as enjoyable as the old SC I remember. Has time affected by taste buds or is anyone else noticing that this NOT the old SC recipe?

Crescent moon and memory lane weren't bad for me but I got them at max VG just to use for some cloud builds I was working on. I am more of a flavor chaser than cloud chaser but those were tolerable even if they were really low on flavor due to being max VG. Never tried them at 50/50.

All the talk of crescent moon sounds like what fort custard tasted like to me. I'm pretty sure they use butyric acid. Has to be.

Because.. "Clouds Bro" !
Ikr? Frustrates me as well but what's worse is the vendors that won't even give a ratio.

I work on the theory that vendors who won't share basics about their liquid like ratio, sweetened, etc.
a) don't care about my health (what if I have a medical allergy)
b) have something to hide
c) don't want my business anyway

I like 70% PG but a huge part of my allergies is a dry throat with a hacking cough that sounds like I'm on my deathbed. I just finished 2 weeks of that. PG is just too drying. More than 50% VP, though, and I get a stomach ache. So I've been doing 50/50. I do get that heavy lung feeling sometimes so I'm going to try to add a little more VG into the mix.

I think the worst part of the "look how cool I am, vaping" thing is that it gives the anti-vaping crowd something to latch onto to back up their claim that vaping is directed to teens.

It's shameful I know. Oh well different strokes and all that jazz.
BTW, Peppermint Mocha does not make for good eyewash!
IEEEE!

Okay, forgive me, but small rant this morning.....

Every once in awhile I'll see a flavor pop up that I really want to try, that isn't from Ahlusion. So I go find it online, only to find out it is only offered in a high VG blend. WTH....does everyone think all eliquids have to be max VG? What about us vapers who can't handle more than 50% VG, do we not count? It fustrates me to no end!!!

I vaped 100% VG for the almost first 2 years of vaping. Then I was diagnosed with COPD & realized the 100% VG made breathing so much harder, made my lungs feel extra heavy/congested. Switched to 50% VG & it helped so much.

Anyways, sorry to be off topic, but I know I'm among good friends here & thankfully I have Ahlusion to meet my needs as a vaper. THANK YOU so much Ahlusion!!!! :)

I second your rant. :) I will be so relieved when this MAX-VG fad finally abates -- assuming it does. Until then (and probably for always), we have good old wonderful Ahlusion! :vapor::vapor::vapor:

I've been looking at Ice Kiss over the years. I'll definitely have to try it now. Thanks for the recommendation. :) I didn't see it in Xpress on my last order, but I did get some Sweet Chill, which I think will be great to add to things.

Memory Lane never improved for me. I even tried it with sweetener to see if it was better. Lol.

Rasputin isn't horrible like the rest. I just don't like crust so that ruins it for me. I've found that I'm not a fan of banana or raspberry if they are the only fruit. I have to correct my previous post, it wasn't Memory Lane I got, it was Saturday Morning that tastes like plastic to me. I think I may take a pass on ever getting Memory Lane, though.

Maybe Rasputin will be good to add to other fruits that need a little cheesecake in them. I haven't given up on it, but I think it will be a mixer for me.

I'm going to have to try Orange Creamsicle again, it was a couple of years ago that I got a sample.

All the talk of crescent moon sounds like what fort custard tasted like to me. I'm pretty sure they use butyric acid. Has to be.

I think you're right, Jenna. I googled BA, and that sounds like a good contender for what I've hated in all the vanilla custard-y things I've tried.
