Prayers still going out your way, Penny! Also for you Shari!
Hi Jessa! WOOT!
coils are EASY, glad you are having luck with the wrapping. Flavor for me, tends to be very air-flow dependent. If I really make sure my wicking isn't restricting air flow to ANY part of the coil, flavor tends to improve dramatically. Is the T.M. side feed air flow holes? If it is, it's like the Petri. Imagine the air coming in those holes, and curving up towards the drip tip. You want your coil height smack in the middle of that curve, so equal air hits the top and bottom of the coil. Typically, bottom of the coil at the top of the air hole, depending on how close it is to the posts or walls. Those two things can really make a big dif in flavor.
Not sure if you are using cotton or rayon. Cotton wants to slip-fit in the
coils. Keep the tails out from underneath except on the floor of your deck. Rayon I PACK in the coil, but taper the thickness of the legs towards the deck for good air flow. If you chain
vape, and never get a dry hit, you can cut down on the thickness of your wicking to improve air flow.
Finicky lil buggers, but SO important with Ahlusions more subtle flavor profiles.
Anyone else chomping at the bit to try the Elite line? I'm sitting on my hands here... well, except to type..
