Hi, PennyLynn. So sorry to hear about your breast cancer diag. I have to have a biopsy for this too, on Friday. My surgeon tells me that the treatments and success rates have improved greatly in recent years. I am sending you happy thoughts and vibes............ Did you feel them? Hugs.

Best of luck to you along with hugs, prayers and lots of good thoughts.

Prayers still going out your way, Penny! Also for you Shari!

Hi Jessa! WOOT! coils are EASY, glad you are having luck with the wrapping. Flavor for me, tends to be very air-flow dependent. If I really make sure my wicking isn't restricting air flow to ANY part of the coil, flavor tends to improve dramatically. Is the T.M. side feed air flow holes? If it is, it's like the Petri. Imagine the air coming in those holes, and curving up towards the drip tip. You want your coil height smack in the middle of that curve, so equal air hits the top and bottom of the coil. Typically, bottom of the coil at the top of the air hole, depending on how close it is to the posts or walls. Those two things can really make a big dif in flavor.

Not sure if you are using cotton or rayon. Cotton wants to slip-fit in the coils. Keep the tails out from underneath except on the floor of your deck. Rayon I PACK in the coil, but taper the thickness of the legs towards the deck for good air flow. If you chain vape, and never get a dry hit, you can cut down on the thickness of your wicking to improve air flow.

Finicky lil buggers, but SO important with Ahlusions more subtle flavor profiles.

Anyone else chomping at the bit to try the Elite line? I'm sitting on my hands here... well, except to type.. :)
Thanks! Great tips!

Guys, I'm doing really well! I had to add a med called Protonix, which reduces your production of stomach acid, and I feel very good. I went in today and had my blood levels tested, and all looked great (they did give me some fluids by IV just to be on the safe side). I'm doing my Two-Hour Chicken and Vegetables for dinner tonight and hoping the taste buds will comply a little bit.
Still vaping, still indulging in my passion - sewing - and feeling very positive.
Thanks for all the good wishes sent my way!

I ended up, starving, in a hospital cafeteria yesterday (after waiting a very long time for a test result). I grabbed a ham and cheese sandwich and a Coke...okay, and a Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I can truly say I learned the difference between hunger and appetite. The sandwich tasted blah and the Coke pretty blechh too. I saved the candy for evening, and I realized that this could be IT for me if the chocolate also didn't taste good (I consider chocolate one of the major food groups). Well, the peanut butter was SO bright! It was good, and it actually overshadowed the chocolate. So, partial win.

Five 60's arrived today. LCS, Godfather and Sleighride (2+2+1) yippee!
By the way, I picked up some well steeped and not a favorite "Gingers" to get me through. It went from meh to wow over 3-4 months and has me wondering if I should have ordered some....

Enjoy!! I'm interested in the Gingers too. I'm so glad to know you like it.

Have you ever tried their Ginger Candy? I've bought candied ginger as a spice to use for cooking, and it's tasty, but is very spicey, so I'm curious what Wlad's Ginger Candy is like.

I've been experiencing "chemo" or "metal" mouth, a phenomenom that occurs where nothing tastes right. Tonight, I looked longingly at the pint of Jamocha Almond Fudge that's been sitting in my freezer for a week, and decided to see how bad it would be. Lalala! It was delicious!!! First thing I've tried in days that tasted the way it was supposed to!
My LimeLight is tasting pretty good today, too.

Yay!! I am soooo happy for you!! If you can find these things that taste good, I am sure you can find other things that do too. It's a very big thing!!

What's the oldest juice you guys have vaped? I've got a bottle of LVC that's about 15 months old- going to try it later today. I've got others that are older- some need to be chucked. I used to vape a lot of Lemon, Pineapple Cream, then I discovered Caramel Wild Wood, which became my ADV, and the others got neglected.

If it tastes good, it gets vaped. I've used liquid over 2 yrs old (that didn't have preservatives)

Just tried it and it's delicious! As an added bonus, I'm using an EHPro KFL+ that I just got for $4.99 (My other two KFL+ are authentics). I had some sample Blueberry VC in it and it was just OK, so I was wondering if the clone wasn't quite cutting it. Nope! Other than a slightly tighter draw than the authentics, it's a super clone with great flavor!

BVC is more subtle than LVC

Don't believe I've tried the Ginger Candy. Frankly, I wasn't a big fan of the Gingers when it arrived. Over the next 4 months it transformed into something wonderful or my taste buds changed. :thumb:

Oh, several flavors I have not yet tried either, which is almost unimaginable. This may surprise a few here, but Ahlusion does NOT have samplers of their whole line in the store. So the 100+ I've tried, doesn't leave many, but 3 of the prezzie flavors, I have never seen nor tasted! Pretty darn excited...
