If I could do it, I wonder if not vaping for a few days would re-set my flavor palette!? Or perhaps my length of time vaping is involved.
It's not the length of time. I've been at it six and a half years and I still love good juice. I do find vaping higher quality juice has left me less tolerant of the lower quality stuff. It's kind of like if you only eat in 5* restaurants and then you try street vendor food. After DeejStuff (5*) closed, I bought some juice from the vendor I used before that. It's not terrible, 3* and some 4*, but it's definitely harsher and less refined than what I'm now used to. I can vape it in small quantities but none of it is an all-day or even an all-hour vape. (On the other hand, my Ahlusion Boba Tea, Chocolate Cream and Peppermint Mocha are on on a back shelf. So far they've been steeping for 7-10 months. If they're still ghastly after a year, they're going down the drain. Other than them, all the Ahlusion I've gotten has been 5*. I don't always like what I order but the flavor is what it should be.)

If you want to clear your palate, maybe you can vape unflavored for a week.

Really? So yeah I'll try doing that with the 30's but it don't make sense to me yet.
But you've used it so you know. Okay I'll order all 30's then. Every dollar counts these days. ;)

It doesn't make sense to me either. I plan to contact them and ask if they want to phase out 60s. It's $10.20 for a 30 with my status discount. But it costs $11 to upgrade to a 60. I buy 2 30s and save $1.60. It's crazy!

It is what causes your body to make its own melatonin. It's widely available at health food stores. I took melatonin years ago, and it helped me sleep, but it gave me very intense, scary dreams, so I stopped taking it. I don't have that problem with the 5 HTP. When I go to sleep, I sleep like a baby.

Melatonin experiment over (or, as my phone's spell-check likes to think of it, "I tried using malaria to get to sleep earlier.")

I thought 3mg time release would be good but none of the stores near me had it so I bought 1mg tablets.
Saturday night I took 1. It had no effect.
Sunday night I took 2. Maybe it helped a bit but I still went to jury duty on 4 1/2 hours of sleep.
Last night I took 3. Same as Sunday. 5 1/2 hours of sleep.

Except... yesterday I had a full-blown vertigo attack (room spinning one way then the other, nausea, sweating, etc.) and today I had a mini one when I rolled over to turn off my alarm. I put 2+2 together and googled it. Melatonin has been associated with vertigo at high dosages (over 5mg). Maybe in people who don't have a long history with it. But I haven't had even a mini-attack in about a year and want to keep it that way. Anyone need a bottle of 1mg Melatonin?

On the vaping side, they give you about an hour and a half for lunch. Vaping hard the whole time and during one 20 minute break in the morning, and I survived despite the lack of sleep.

Wow! When I met the Hubber, he waxed rhapsodic about how melatonin helped him get a great night's sleep. He also had vertigo! He stopped taking the melatonin years ago, and the vertigo has also vanished. never made the connection until you posted this.

I used to have chronic "benign positional vertigo". Got tested and everything. It went away for years (other than the rare stand-alone bout.) Last year I got it again and my doctor had me take meklazine (the active ingredient in some sea sickness pills.) It went away again.

Yesterday I thought I might have a touch food poisoning, I was so nauseated, until I made the connection.

Well that holds true only for SOME flavors @Bukket5
I went ahead and ordered all 60's. Some of the 30's were cheaper and some were not. Godfather and a couple others were not. And just so you know..Yeah I ordered so, maybe a flash sale now.

The FDA deeming rules just came out. From my quick look at the first few pages, it looks like they didn't change the grandfather date (still 2007) but they are giving manufacturers a year to submit requests for approval. I may have totally misread it but that's how it looked to me.
Yeah, that could be wrong. It might actually be a longer time, which is great...or I might be wrong about that, too. I guess we'd better wait until it's all read through..it's about 497 pages.
Vape 'em if ya got 'em.

this made me go look at my bottle of Melatonin that I just bought last week never paying attention to the MGS and YEEGADS..I have 10mg and I took 3 the last couple of nights. No wonder I felt run over by a truck. My last bottle was 3 mg and taking 3 was perfect.
I stupidly assumed they were all the same

I just sent the following to my Congressman, Pete Sessions.

Please cosponsor or support HR 2058. Vaping is a highly safe alternative to analog old-style tobacco cigarettes. The deeming regs will put many small businesses out of business and will cause people who are happily and safely vaping to go back to smoking nasty, stinky, deadly tobacco filled cigarettes! This is exactly what the big tobacco manufacturers want. It is their goal to force vapors to quit vaping and be dependent once again on their death sticks. It's all about keeping the money flowing to the Big Tobacco manufacturers. The fact that the language used in the deeming regulations are designed to convey a concern for health and well being is just a smokescreen for allowing Big Tobacco to put their hands in our pockets once again.

Please protect the rights of vapers and small businesses supporting the vaping industry.

If anyone wants to use this, please be my guest. If I need to make edits to better serve our cause, please let me know. I'm not aware of all the nuances and legalities I should observe.

I just wanted to remind everyone to PLEASE go to your account page on Ahlusion's site and make sure your birth date is in there, because once these new rules go into affect, your birthday has to be there, or you will no longer be able to access your account!

Please pass that along to other threads & friends that you know order from Ahlusion. Thanks! :)

Thanks for the tip. I went to check my account, and my birth date was not listed. I fixed that very quickly!

OMG!! I just tried the Kiwi Sea and it is soooooo good. I got it yesterday, so it doesn't have any steep on it yet. It will surely continue to deepen in flavor, but even if it doesn't improve one bit, this is one of my favorite juices ever!! I'm vaping it on my iStick 20 watt at around 12 watts with a Nautilus Mini tank.

It's a very fresh sort of green taste and Lisa was right, it is deliciously bold!!! I'm not getting much coconut yet, but what I do get is very, very good!! This is definitely one I'll only order in the 60 ml. bottle size going forward. It's at the minimum every bit as good or even better than Mango Lassi, Lychee Coconut Smoothie, Lemon Cream, Lime Cream, CocoBerry Cream, Fijian Nights and Moonlight Serenade. I am amazed and I can't wait to see how this juice develops over time. I'm in vape nirvana with this one.

I am also crazy about the Strawberry Colada. It is very tasty and bold as well. I get the lovely strawberry, the icy sensation with Breeze added and a hint of rum. I'm not getting the coconut with this one, but it may not have coconut in it. I assumed it did, because it's a Colada. Either way, it's awesome! Wlad did some magical mixing with both Kiwi Sea and Strawberry Colada.
