Fellow grapefruit haters -- go ahead and try Oasis. I taste citrus but it doesn't taste like grapefruit to me. If I had to guess, I'd say orange although there is a bit of a tang.

Overall, even though I can taste the prickly pear as well, I think it is too subtle a flavor for me. I like a little more flavor in my flavor.

Also, for you grapefruit haters... Know that Wild Passion is most definitely grapefruit. I like grapefruit, but it is a bit too much, even so. I had hoped that (like the description says) it would be mostly passion fruit, with a touch of grapefruit, but that's not what I get at all. Mine is several (maybe even 6 or more) months old, so there's always the chance that the balance has changed, but it is most definitely grapefruit, and not even ruby red.

Thanks. That description says "grapefruit" so I had no plan to try it. Oasis just says "citrus."

And I've just tried my last banana vape. Strawberry Banana Cream is my 2nd Ahlusion banana and about my 5th from anywhere. They taste exactly like bananas. I like bananas. But I don't like them. I guess it joins chocolate as being a food I like and a vape I dislike.

Yeah, banana vapes don't work out for me, either, and I like bananas, too. Randy and LLB were talking about Fijian Nights a couple of days ago, and I think it's the banana in it that made it weird for me when I tried it.

@Bukket5 Boiled chicken makes the best chicken salad as the only grease is from the mayo.

@Make lots and freeze the leftover in single-serving containers.

I've got to do this. The deli at our local store has really good chicken salad. I love to eat it in a tortilla with lettuce.

Oh my.... Why did I wait so many years to try Fijian nights??? I could drink the stuff; its superb!

I had been without it for about a year. Now I'm addicted to it again! I never knew what was in it since the original site didn't have a description. I can't believe it has banana since I've never liked any banana flavors. I keep it in 2 different tanks. A larger one for at home and my eGrip to take with me.

I found an original eGrip for $21.50 yesterday and had to order it. The GS Air coils fit in them so it's the perfect stealth setup for me.

I'm the same way.....except for Fijian Nights. It's blended so perfectly you can't tell what's in the mix. It even says it has mint! I taste no mint at all. The mixes are always on my reorder list. I recently tried a sample of Melon Berry Frost. Silly me thought it wasn't available without some level of mint or menthol. It's amazing!

I get Orange from Oasis, too.

HI everyone. Have not posted in a bit but feel good enough to stop in and catch up. PennyLynn, You GO Girl!!!!!!! And Bukket, good to hear you are well enough for PT. Hope it helps your back. I still need to go back for more PT, I can't stay on my feet for more than a few minutes.

Had my breast cancer surgery June 6th. A lumpectomy and surgeon took out a golf ball sized amount of boob. Hurt, but not as bad as I thought it would. I am now doing the radiation. I am having a 'newer' type where they put an implant inside boob and there are 8 tendrils that stick out the side (looks like I have the tail ends of a squid sticking out) and they put radiation seeds in. Two times a day for 5 days and then I am done with radiation, instead of 7 weeks the old way. Surgeon says they got all the cancer. Next is another oncology doc and meds for 5 to 10 years. I am very tired and sore and tender, body and mind.......

I do not know why we can't just trade in our old bodies for new ones, like we do with our used cars. Sigh. But this body is not totally worn out yet. I will get more mileage out of it. You bet I will!

I am getting close to needing to order some more CPBT. Any sales or specials going on at the Mothership?

I am hoping that somebody will have Russian 91s or Kayfun Lites on sale for the 4th. If anyone hears about a sale, let me know. I need to get a couple more and some spare parts too.

Oh, and Happy Father's Day to all the dads!

So good to hear from you, @ShariR ! I know this has been a tough ride for you, but it sounds like it's all going as well as it could. Sending you lots of love and hopes that life will get a lot smoother for you soon!

(Oh, and as far as sales, they've had 40% off going for quite some time, now!)

Hi @ShariR! Thank you for posting. I was getting concerned. It's great that they removed it all but I'm sure it doesn't feel that way right now. :( I hope you start to feel better soon and have a quick recovery.

The radiation treatment sounds like a much better way to do it than before. Please take care of yourself. I'm sure it's hard to do when you have so many appointments scheduled and all you want to do is be left alone.

PT will still be there when you're ready for it. Now you need to relax as much as possible. Get lots of rest and if you feel up to it get lost in a good book or binge watching tv. Netflix has some great series. I'm all caught up on House of Cards and I'm watching Season 2 of Bloodlines now. It's a really good show with great actors. But if anyone hasn't seen House of Cards I definitely recommend it. Best show I've ever seen. Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are amazing in it.

I just saw that Fasttech had a sale but I missed it by an hour. I have my cart waiting for a sale and always forget the time difference.

My goodness, ShariR! Your and my treatments are so different. I'm doing chemo first, six rounds in all, then surgery (bye, bye, Lefty) and then just the heparin for a year. We'll both end up in the same place, though...healthy!

Squid boob sounds like something Jean Paul Gaultier would design for Madonna to wear on stage.

I have a friend who had a double mastectomy (brca gene). Her trainer came to visit her in the hospital the next day. He brought 2 grapefruits. At first she thought he was making a bad joke about her missing anatomy but he was a physical therapist in Eastern Europe and they were for exercising. They're an easy shape to hold and light but still a weight. My friend's oncologist now has his schedule filled with her patients. Just a thought for between PT appointments -- maintaining range of motion is so important after the surgery.

And, on a semi-vaping note, I finally got my freezer cleaned out. Plenty of room for me to fill with bottles of nicotine. :D

The first exercise I plan to do is use my eating utensils! Chemo makes everything taste so awful -- forget the hair - I just want food to taste good again...and I have a long list of things I look forward to enjoying. Plus, my digestion is so messed up I can't even eat healthily, meaning no salads or anything, really, with fiber.
Getting close to the end of the current cycle, which means things might taste a little better. I have high hopes for tonight's Two-Hour Chicken with roasted potatoes and carrots...there will also be roasted red pepper and an onion, but I'm not going near those!

Hi Penny:) I hope you start feeling better after this round of chemo! I feel absurd posting about my medical issues when I think about what you're going through. But I thought talking to you might help.
I haven't posted in awhile. Before you were diagnosed with cancer did you notice a change in your flavor preferences? Or did the flavors issue not occur until you started chemotherapy? I've been getting medical tests and go in for a colonoscopy on the 29th. My red/white blood cell test results were abnormal and colon cancer runs on both sides of my family. I have other symptoms too. I'm normally very energetic but lethargy and weight loss have progressed within the past year. I'm praying my procedure shows at most pre-cancerous polyps and nothing more. My dad has had pre-cancerous polyps removed 3 times. Anyway, I've noticed Vaping has become oddly difficult. Flavors taste off to me. Same with food. What did you do when you had odd reactions to flavors? Try new flavors? I was exclusively addicted to the Express version of Lemon Vanilla Cake. I can somewhat enjoy the custom non steeped version and also can handle Lime Cream. But nothing tastes WOW to me right now. I'm going to start trying some old favorites, like Ahlusion's coconut dream. Fruity flavors I used to love, like mango, just taste awful to me lately. Not the end of the world, but I am scared that I've become vulnerable to smoking. My mom smokes and it's become harder to be around it without craving cigarettes. But I know I can't go back to smoking! I've gone all these years without falling back into it. I know I would be flushing my health down the toilet. I see there are strong, brave women here facing cancer..I'm in awe of your bravery and positivity. Thank you for sharing. It made me feel like I could post here about my medical jitters without feeling (overly) awkward. Hoping you have a great night and enjoy that chicken dinner! :)

Jump N Jive! I made the journey to HQ today, to take advantage of my last "Upgrade 3 10ml's to 60ml's" offer. Going to miss that amazing dealio, been spoiled ROTTEN the past 6 months.

While there, I expressed interest to Zack in some higher nic to keep in my saddlebags. Often I go a LONG time between vapes while riding, and then just stop to take a few puffs. High nic does the job of keeping me in the saddle all day.

"Oh, we have the clearance rack of 18mg and 24mg" errr... how much? "$3 for 30ml" WUT?!?! Apparently, high nic is NOT a good seller these days. All show being beyond the "Best by" dates, but if I remember correctly, Wlad was labeling these for 6 months, when they should have been labeled for a year out from mix date. And of course, I have that 4 year old Pink Label experience to tell me that THAT is a conservative estimate..

I'll be heading back in a few days to pick up my Custom order. If anyone would like me to pick them up some of these, I can do it. A small box USPS priority is $6.50 or so, and will probably hold a dozen. A LOT of different tobacco flavors, and there is more variety in 24mg, but this is pretty much the offerings of 18mg.

Hmmmm...Do they have any high nic Lemon Vanilla Cake? I don't vape high nic juices but maybe I could mix them with 0 nic to improve the flavor of my custom non steeped juice. Tempting and generous offer!

Wow, so sorry to hear what's happening with you. I had a bit of pre-cancerous growth down there myself (had a hemmorhoid surgery a few years ago and they found that lovely bonus). So I got a few more fun colonoscopies after that just to make sure all remained OK.
I didn't notice any changes such as you're describing. Nothing changed at all for me before I started chemo. You stick with the vaping! The odds for lung cancer are a lot worse. I'm going to guess that of course, you're upset, and that could be affecting how things taste to you. Just stay with it. I've had days when, because of taste, all I could vape was plain mint flavors, and I stuck with it. And don't think my surgeon doesn't keep trying to tell me how bad nicotine is - meanwhile, he's about seventy pounds overweight. It's so easy to tell someone else what to do.
PLEASE keep us posted as to what the test shows and also please stay strong! At least strong enough to get to whatever the next step will be. That's all I do.

NO SMOKING!!!!!

All you get from smoking is some nicotine, tobacco flavor and a ton of carcinogenic chemicals. So, if you are really tempted, get some tobacco flavor juice with nicotine and avoid all the other crap they contain.

If your food and beverages still taste right your tastebuds have probably just gotten bored. Try something completely different for a week or two or even some unflavored. Anything that isn't lemon/citrus or vanilla or cream.

This too shall pass and you won't have resumed old, bad habits. Good luck.

Thank you Penny. Yes, I'm hoping a lot of my issues are stress related. I have a special needs teenager and a very energetic 7 year old, along with a very demanding jewelry business. I think I'm just overwhelmed due to lack of energy and stress. My aunt on my mom's side just had a section of her intestines removed due to a huge cancerous polyp that was the size of a golf ball. She now has a colostomy bag. Seeing her go through that has been hard. I need to stop imagining the worst and stay hopeful and positive. I'm relieved I'll have an answer soon. And yes, no to the smoking! I hate admitting this, but I've had a few puffs over the past month and it disgusted me. Horrid taste. I've now asked ( or demanded) my mom to not smoke around me. I got her into Vaping and she stuck with it for 3 years. I was so sad when she relapsed back to smoking. She has depression issues and said smoking "helps her" cope. Argh! It's really awful to hear her coughing and wheezing again. I don't want to join her and go down that path. But having her smoking around me everyday was driving me nuts. I am shocked I even cheated with those few drags off her cigarettes! I never thought I'd want to smoke again. I've been Vaping for so long and never craved going back to the cancer sticks. I need to buy myself a new Evic mini mod and some new flavors. I plan on doing that with my next paycheck. I'm craving basic flavors like vanilla. I wish Ahlusion made a basic Madagascar vanilla... I'm not a French vanilla fan. If anyone knows of a good natural and sweet creamy vanilla out there, let me know! Thanks for the support. It really helped me

I just took a shower. I put my glasses on, grabbed my PV, etc. and came back to the living room. I put it all on the desk then I looked down. In addition to my PV and a bottle of juice, I brought my electric toothbrush with me. I didn't realize it because I'm so used to having my hands full of (vaping) stuff on my way to or from the bathroom.

haha I can so relate to this^^^ I have so much to carry to bed every night sometimes I have to make two trips. Used to be a massive cup of ice water and one mod, then it became ice water and two mods. Then it became two ice waters and two mods. Added to this is always my phone.

Anyone like Strawberry Sunset? Breeze or no breeze? Thinking of trying it.

Your favorite Ahlusion peach flavor?

Thanks in advance. Always looking for new flavors!
One of my favorites! I don't do breeze on it. I like a peachy affair as well as raspberry sunset for peachy flavors. I find it easier to vape strawberry sunset for longer than peachy affair though.
