I was on the wagon for two years and then fell off for seven years so your three years really don't mean anything. I'm just curious. WHY are you concerned that you might be getting drunk off your juice if it has nothing to do with your sobriety??

Just that. Was curious if it's possible. I came here because people here vape, they may have wisdom to add to the question I had. If the reply came back resounding yes, I'd get rid of it immediately. As it turns out, it may be something else. Either psychosomatic, or a potential medical condition arising. Weeding out possibilities.

What should have I done with the question I had. I did after all have a question. Is it possible to get a buzz of an e-liquid? Not seeking advise on sobriety. In my heart of hearts, I have not an ounce of urge to drink. Have been at gatherings where it was around, didn't phase me in the least. If anything, it helps keep me sober watching others act the way I used to.

the bottom line is, you think the booze juice tastes nasty ... you are saying no to fruit flavours ... all I'm saying is, don't knock it til you try it.

probably 90% of vapers (or more), enjoy some sort of fruit flavoured juice ... I bet you are also one, and do not know it yet :2cool:

the buzz you are feeling is the nicotine.

Ok. Yes, you can most definitely absorb alcohol through your lungs. I still feel the reason you are asking is because if you get drunk on ejuice even by accident that will be a road toward falling off the wagon, but you say that has nothing to do with it so okay, then, it has nothing to do with it.

Not sure how they would get the
cognac and bourbon flavor, with out using "some of the hair of the dog that bit me".

You did not say what the nic level was you are using, but a higher nic level may also give you a "buzz".
Know I get a small buzz when I lick my fingers after filling the tanks,
but no more so than I got from chewing Nicorette, and it was not the same buzz......

Keep asking brother, we will be there for you.

im new to vaping, but im a veteran drinker. anyways, heres my two cents. im thinking maybe it was just the way you were hitting the vaper, and possibly got a lil light headed from a lack of oxygen to the brain. or, like someone else said, maybe it was the nicotine. or, maybe a psychosomatic deal. like a placebo, maybe. i dont think the ammount of alcohol that could possibly be in the juice would be enough to feel. when i first bought my ego kit, i asked the lady if they made any alcohol flavors, just out of curiosity. she said they dont. the other night i thought maybe you can make beer flavors with the actual ingredients that they use to make beer. i dont think that senor ektor was asking because he wanted to get a buzz or avoid getting a buzz. if i vaped something alcohol flavored, and then felt like i had consumed alcohol, i'd be asking questions, too.

It seems important to have the last word. You have it no contest. Congratulations. If you really want to have the last word, respond to this . . . I promise I won't respond. Thank you.

That was very insightful. Stupid me, didn't even think of brain/oxygen equation. But interesting you brought the beer. 'cause if you could possibly imagine a stale, warm, pabst blue ribbon . . . that might be the flavor this smoke has. It's that bad. Another person commented possibly letting these steep for a while to get the flavor. And I've heard that many times before. Patience can be a friend which, I often view as an enemy.

No, I actually posted that in the original post. All of these are nicotine free, with extra flavoring (of whatever they used to get the flavor), and with a 70 pg/ 30 vg mix.

Sobriety can mean EVERYTHING to some, doesn't matter if that person is AA or not. His means something to him or he wouldn't have posted that. But it's, true, no loopholes. Steep it with the caps off for a couple days, let the alcohol evaporate, if it was made with any. Shake it up, try it again. Or not.

I'm not arguing with you. I'm sorry if you are taking what I say the wrong way. As someone who is on the wagon I can assure you that I'm not trying to make fun of you or ridicule you in any way at all. Never mind. We started off on the wrong foot so let's just wipe the slate clean and I won't say another word about it. Sound fair enough?

I never took it as poking fun, ridicule, etc. What I took it as was that sobriety being a topic which, it wasn't. Although, technically it could be, if it were possible. Which was my question.

I take responsibility for not thinking this question with all it's implications. I remember being young, young in sobriety, and just being a person of different morals and views. I should have known that the mere mention of the topic would excite passions. I regret mentioning it. Guaranteed, the last time I do.

But thank you for coming forward to start a new. Sounds fair to me.
