Alcohol Smell?

A girl I know asked me if I had been drinking and was obviously confused. We have known each other since the 80s and she knows that I don't drink alcohol.

The fact is I don't drink, can e-liquids make you smell like you have been drinking alcohol?

I haven't had anyone smell alcohol but my sisters made me quit vaping Bees Knees (honey) in the car because the lingering odor was a urine smell... up close the exhaled vape smelled like honey, but as it dissippated it turned bad and lingered.... so a lingering alcohol smell wouldn't be too far fetched at all....
